Site Ranking - Moving On Up!
It has been quite the roller coaster ride with my site rankings. At some point along the way, I checked and my site was on page 5 in Google. It wasn't great but I felt everything would be fine. But no. That was not the case. As I was checking my rankings, they continued to drop. Google, page 7....then one day a few weeks ago, I checked my site rankings and my heart hit the floor. It was NOT RANKED....in Google, Bing OR Yahoo.
How could this happen?! What happened to page 5....page 7 for that matter?!
To be honest with you, it was then I wanted to just give up. I didn't know what to do. The feeling of defeat and frustration settled in at that point.
Even though I was upset about it, I knew I couldn't give up. My thought was if I am going down, I'm not going down without a fight. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and join the Gogetter's training. I'm taking it a step at a time, getting through the tasks and working really hard on my site. I still have a lot to do, but thanks to Bo, I'm making progress.
Tonight, I decided to chance it and checked my site rankings:
Google - PAGE 4
Bing - PAGE 1
What??!! Really??!!
While my ranking in Bing is great, I still have a long way to go in Google because page 4 is not the best and I am still not ranked in Yahoo. However, I am very happy because it sure beats where my site was a few weeks ago - UNRANKED - period.
I'm here to encourage you to keep moving forward. Whatever training you are in at this time, follow the steps and put the work in because you will get there.

lol, I am obsessed with my rankings. I have a huge spreadsheet that I use to keep track of my rankings for each page every day. I scour my analytics and search console daily.
Over the course of a few weeks it is disheartening to see your pages either not rank at all or go from being ranked to dropping off, but I keep at it and hope for things to improve.
One of things that gets me the most is not ranking for the keywords you choose but ranking for other keywords. This is one of the things I'm still trying to wrap my head around but over time we will see how these things pan out.

Thanks for your comments and information. You are very organized with the system. I check my Google Analytics and search console, but not daily. As my site gets older and has more traffic, I probably will as well. LOL
