Being unemployed has enlightened me to what living during the day is like. Spending time with friends, being more available for my now-grown kids, getting to know my own self. I'm now working as a counselor at the group home., but for what they pay, I honestly consider it more like a volunteer thing. Growing up I wanted to be a social worker, but they are so underpaid and undervalued. I couldn't live on that. However, a girl could get used to this: working there helping people how I've always wanted to or otherwise using my time on my terms. All without worrying about how my bills are going to get paid.
Living off my savings is going to come to an abrupt halt sooner than later. It's going to run out pretty quickly if I can't get it replenished quick enough. Then I'll have to rejoin the rat race.
I think I finally found a program that is genuinely a win/win. This is their niche. If this works out how I hope, I have so many people to share this with, but I won't recommend anything until I've seen some money come in and know it's going to work.
Thus far, I'm SUPER excited!!!
I've had this mantra of "The World I See Begins With Me" for years and have ideas for it, but need help creating the brand. Starting a movement so-to-speak.
YaelLynn's Goals 3
Earn enough to make a living so I can live a life. this "unemployement" period has been a blessing in disguise. After 25 years of climbing the corporate ladder, I have seen what it's like to live a life, help people, spend time with my kids and friends. But soon enough my savings will run out and I'll have to get back to corporate life if I don't find at least a steady $4000/month net pay (about $5000 gross) before then. Supporting my family has always gotten in the way of living life and enjoying my family and life.
