This has to be too good to be true, but I can't find it.

I have about 350 facebook friends. If 200 people sign up for the free account and out of that 75 people decide to join Wealthy Affiliates, here's what every spends and makes on that.

WA Me Steve My friends

Mon -$1 email +$1

Tues +$11 -$19 +8

Wed -$200 +$200 $0 200 free accts

Thurs +$825 +$600 $0 75 x $19 = $1425

$635 $781 $9

Every month after just for Wealthy Affiliates:

$1837 $1640.50 $ 22.50 Those 75 people are now making charts like this to introduce everyone they know. Eventually if everybody joined a group like this and did it the right way, there's no way to lose----------until we run out of people and everyone is already a part of it. LoL!!!

I've only done my facebook so far. I haven't even gone out and started my website yet or created the traffic that I'm learning how to do. Let alone all the ways that I'm learning how to make money with affiliate marketing.

Within less than a week, WA has made $635, I have made $781, Steve has made $9 and 1/2 of the people who signed up for free account decline so far. If they see this and decide to take advantage of it after all, I still get the commission later on. In the meantime, I've already made $231. The people that did do the starter membership are already earning like this. If they decide to stay on and pay monthly, I will continue to get $22.50 every month for each of them. $22.50 x 25 = $562.50 per month. Out of that, I will pay $47. Steve will get $22.50 and WA will get $24.50 EVERY month. Of course, until I decide to go annual and remain a premium member.

So my job, essentially, is spread the word about Wealthy Affiliates and provide as many email addresses to them as possible. ........AND the $47 I'm paying every month keeps me in Premium Member status and gives me access to an insane amount of training on how to get myself noticed, put myself out there. Which will lead to more email addresses. And I will learn how to build the website I want and build the business I want.

In a worst case scenario, I can continue to be a premium member as long as those 75 people stay on and continue to make $1640/month. If they drop off and I don't get any new referrals, it'll start to dwindle down. But seriously, I don't see that happening where I just leave it alone like that.

Hi Lokwy. Thank you for the follow.

So far I have only posted links (copied the affiliate links) to my page on facebook. When anyone clicks into those links then signs up for a starter account, I get "credit" for it, which equals $1. If 19 people sign up for Starter accounts, I've already earned back that $19 I've invested so far.
That's only the credit for the starter account. If they decide to go premium and pay the $19 so they could do this too, I get $8 of that. Then $22.50 every month that they stay on. And once their on here and they understand how the math works, I can't see any logical reason that anyone wouldn't join and stay.

I have to scale it back though. My son told me I'm over-selling because I'm so excited about this. So I have to rethink my strategy and play it cool a bit. LoL

I hope this helps - both you and me. Again, if my thinking is off on any of this, please let me know so I can adjust accordingly. Still seems too good to be true. ;-)

Technically you don't earn the $1 credit until a starter member fills out there profile and adds an image.

Also, 200 out of 350 friends is a very large number to sign up from your link and even the 75/200 upgrades would be an extremely optimistic upgrade percentage, at around 40%, when the WA average rate is 12%. It took me a long time to get my referral upgrade rate above 12%!

Generally social media like Facebook is a bit harder to get referrals, especially ones who upgrade, because they're less focused and not really in the right mindset. You'd be lucky if you got a handful of sign ups from your Facebook promotion.

I would suggest you start building a bootcamp website if you are this excited about promoting WA because you will get the best results. It'll also be much easier for you to refer those in person as well because you can link them to your website (pehaps get business cards with your contact info and website link) rather than trying to give them an ugly affiliate link.

I'm only tellig you this beacuse I dont want you to be extremely dissappointed if you don't start earning $1600 a month immediately! I'm not saying it's impossible but remember it does take time to build up an income and a real business online.

Thank you Wendy for clarifying. I knew they had to create their start-up account, but I didn't know about the image part of it. I have a friend who has been gracious enough to be my guinea pig. He signed up, but hasn't put an image on here yet. We're going to get together so I can show him around the website. I'll have him post an image when I see him. At that point, I'll earn $1?
Then, if he decides to go premium for $19, I'll get $8.
Then, as long as he stays on at his $47/month, I will continue to get $22.50. And that is just the referral program. That's not even considering the income that WA is teaching me to create (the original reason I got on here).

Wendy, Please forgive my redundancy, but I want to make sure I understand what is required to achieve the results I want.

And please don't apologize for making sure I stay on planet Earth. That's precisely what I need. :-)

Yes you should earn $1 credit for your referral once he adds the image and profile description, and you will get $8 the first month, then $22.50 each month thereafter as long as he stays premium. Technically you only need 2 premium referrals per month to cover the membership alone, and then yeah, you still can follow the training to create a business around whatever you want to earn additional money. :)

I'm sure I'm giving off the impression that I just want to use the referral program and not actually do anything like build a website. I'm still training on that stuff and I'd like to not rush into it as I do have something in mind that I've always wanted to get out there, but I don't want to mess it up as it's pretty much my baby, so-to-speak.

But that's what excites me about this program so much. Their referral program can build enough to pay my bills so I can continue to treat is like taking a class without having to stress about going to a regular 40 hrs/wk job to pay the bills.

All I have to do is get people to give it a shot. So to start out I'm asking my friends to try it out........ as a favor to me. Then the website does the selling for me. There is such a wealth of information and support on there, it's worth way more than we pay for it. And unlike all those other programs out there that offer anything close to this charge hundreds of dollars, WA only charges AT MOST $47/month. Then when I get a couple of referrals and tell them how much I've made already (in my first month), it'll be real. Not just numbers on my excel spreadsheet (I'm a nerd, remember?) And they'll see how easy that was to make some money and they'll be more likely to give it a chance.

I debated whether to put this on here or send a private message so as not to turn this into a conversation through messages. But I wanted everyone to see my excitement. Sorry went off on a tangent again. LoL :-)

Hi Yaelynn, nice to meet you at WA. May I ask how to drive traffic to your fb page excluded your friends on the internet? I don't quite understand the calculation of what you did earn from WA. I am not familiar with fb marketing, could you please tell me more on this? Thanks a lot!

My thinking exactly YaelLynn.
