Just Learn an Important Life Lesson

As of yesterday, I have learned what I believed to be one of the most important lessons of my life.

"Never pursue anything out of expectation for money."

That's the main reason why I'm here. I wanted to create a second income so I can give myself an easier life. I have no intention of doing any blogging for free. When I tried to start two blogs, my mind began to overload and stresses me out.

Everyone's mind has a different way of dealing with blogging and stress. I tend to be hard on myself because I feel that if I don't do this, I'd be letting everyone who's been supporting me here down. So far, I couldn't bring myself to cope with it. Being a blogger is fun for several people, but it isn't for me. If I can stress myself out at an early stage, I'm terrified to know what I'd become in the future.

And if I was to do blogging, it'd be like this. Talking about myself. Not doing research based on certain niches. I tried to do a horror movie review, but it didn't feel right. It felt more like an obligation rather than to my entertainment.

At this point, I believe everyone should ask themselves this question.

"What would you do if you're not focusing on money?"

A lot of people in this word are driven by money. Their lives would've been entirely different if they have shifted their priorities. They have goals that require money. If you'd only keep your eyes on it, you'll be missing out on what most important to you.

Health, Friends, Family, and Love.

I picked up running because I like being active and healthy. But most importantly, I ENJOY it. I can zone out while running for miles and miles. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. After two years, I 've reached 13.1 miles aka a half-marathon.

I picked up new skills because I love to learn. Every time I'd learn something new, I'm a step closer toward becoming the best version of myself. May hasn't arrive yet, but I feel like I've accomplished more than I did last year. If that's true, I look forward of seeing how much I'd evolve by the end of the year.

If you're here just for money, don't sign up for Premium membership unless you have plans.

I wouldn't be writing blogs. I'd be lying to myself. The only time I feel comfortable writing is for my fanfictions. My longest is over 400,000 words after five years. And when I'd finish that story, I'm going to start planning to create a novel. (If you want a link to that fanfiction, please let me know)

That's being said, I won't become an Affiliate Marketer here. I know that's the whole point of this website, but sometimes, I need to make a couple of same mistake before cementing it into my brain. I have to look after myself. Mental health is important to me.

This isn't a goodbye. I'll still be here to support you all. To have someone you can talk to if you need it. Until then good luck with your journey! :)

Everything takes time and we don't all grow or gain understanding at the same rate. I have the same dream of making $$$ to supplement my current income and eventually walk away from my traditional job.
The frustrations are real, but the fight for your dream inside you has to be stronger than the frustration you feel. But that's not to say this is the only path to fulfill those dreams.
I hoping, praying, and wishing you the best! Thanks for sharing and bearing your heart.

Why didn't you make fan fiction your focus from day one? Do you know others who do it? Do you talk to them and share the things you have in common? Do you tell them about yourself and what you are learning?

That is what a blog is for, helping people. It's not supposed to be about the money but during the process, you will likely be asked to recommend things that you already use.

Marketing yourself and your passion is what you learn here. Helping others to unleash there own fanfictions could be a good niche.

I figured out for my own mental health that I enjoy helping others. Who knew that a guy who used to hate and despise the world would actually come around to wanting to talk to other people.

Hello! You are bringing it home. One has to draw joy from what one does or else it will drain your spirit.

I will love to own my own online business and have the freedom of doing what I love in a sustainable way.

Yet the operative word (or rather phrase) is "doing what I Love." I enjoy learning and sharing that with others. But it has to be interesting to me first or it will feel like any other job.

Thanks for your great post,

Jose

You're welcome! Yes, you have to enjoy it. It'd be pointless otherwise.

Glad I could help! :)

Best of luck on your journey to success, wherever it may lead you!
