Jack of all trades and master of none
This phrase is one that most people have heard at one time or another. It generally was understood as a common person who had a variety of skills, but was not actually proficient at any. When I researched the term I shouldn’t have been surprised, but Jack was just a common term for anybody and this person was usually a Master Craftsman. Funny how things can get turned around.
Then I started to think about all the things that I have been learning here at Wealthy Affiliate. So many courses, so many video’s, the advice, the questions and the blogs. We are in deed very fortunate to have the cornucopia of knowledge available to us all.
Speaking for myself, I am aware that I have a long way to go, but even when I do not feel proficient at any one skill here, I know that I am building a foundation that will eventually prove invaluable later. You are too. Technology is not going away, if anything what we are learning here can only advocate all of our success. If you are speeding through the information and building successful websites, God bless you. But if you are not, for whatever reason, stay the course.
What you don’t understand today, you just might find clarified tomorrow or next month. Meanwhile, as we stay engaged, don’t be afraid to follow your imagination. Dream dreams of how your content will polarize your visitors. Seek out images and don’t rush into publicizing, re-read, ask yourself if this is really what I want to say. Take notes on informational blogs you visit and creatively make them your own. Results on your website may not come right away, but little by little your techniques are formulating and you are going to blow the socks off those reading your posts and pages.
Patience my friends, patience. Encourage others, like their blogs and don’t be too busy that you just cruse by the ideas and thoughts of others. We need you and you need us.
