Help Appreciated

Last Update: December 24, 2019

I joined WA last year, but didn’t up my membership to premium at the time. I tried doing SEO, and gained experience in finding out what doesn’t work, so I finally caved in and took the jump into premium.

I am going rather slow through the courses right now. I’m halfway through Level 2. I think I’m going to start flying through, but then the task is to create another brand-new post. I am a slow writer. I can’t punch out a 1,000 + word post in a matter of hours. I was so happy to get my last post out, mark it done on the training, and go on to the next section. Now I’m needing to write another post. Although I know what I want to write about, I’m having a difficult time finding a keyword that meets the criteria in the training.

Is anyone else on here a slow writer? Has anyone else struggled with keywords? If so, have you obtained success with affiliate marketing? Will slow & steady win the WA race for me? I tried looking back on this subject, and found a couple of others who asked the same question, but I could never find an answer.

This is my first blog on here, and tomorrow is Christmas, so I hope this doesn’t get lost in the shuffle of the holiday. If anyone is kind enough to even put this aside and offer any advice after the holidays, I will take all the advice I can get. Please remember when giving advice though is that I don’t have a strong computer background, I’m new to affiliate marketing, and I’m only on level 2 of the training. I struggle with keywords, and I’m a slow writer. Lol, after looking at that, will this still work for me?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Thanks to all who take the time to read this!

Take your time and follow the training. Dont be afraid to ask questions. Yesterday it took me 8 hours to compose and post one article to my site and a blog here in the platform. Total words between the two was about 1400 words I think, but I never really worry about word count. Doing the math, it looks like about 175 words an hour. How's that for slow. In my opinion though, It's not the amount of words that matter so much, it's more about the quality of the content I create.

Thank you all for the encouragement and suggestions. Tomorrow's task will be writing another post. Today though, I am blessed to be with family.

Merry Christmas!

Congrats. It is OK to take your time. We all start somewhere and you will start going faster with more practice. Keep going and you will reach your destination before you know it.

Cheers,

When you first start writing blogs it can be difficult. However, the more you write the easier it will get. Practice, practice, practice. Since you have to write a lot in here, your writing should benefit. The hardest thing sometimes is just doing it, but make yourself sit down and write at least a little bit each day.

The other thing to think about as you write: Make your post like you are having a conversation with another person. Explain it to them. Often when you think of writing as having a conversation, it will get easier.

Hang in there. You'll do okay. Three months from now, look back and see how far you have come. Just keep writing -- don't give up.

I’m a slow writer too.. it’s not that I don’t find much to say, I just write what needs to be written. I don’t elaborate much to go on writing and writing about something. Once the point made, I move on to a different idea. I’m more of a “scientific writer” if you’d say.. 😊
..well I know that this is an obstacle I’ll face sooner or later. But, definitely, I’m being positive about my future with WA. It’s definitely one of the best decisions I’ve ever taken.
(Even if u get stuck in writing, u can always hire someone to do it for u for not much.. eg. on Fiverr)
Cheers n welcome to the WA club man and Merry Christmas to u too..!!
