Living 2 Lives
I know that the grass was always greener on the other side because those people and or neighbors who reside there just knew how to fertilize their lawn.
Mine didn't look as green and not quite trimmed as theirs because I didn't know how to get it that way.
I never was taught.
That first life has giving me the experience of being worried, in pain, defeated, not having any goal or life plan, and financially unmotivated and angry. I was afraid of scenarios that would lead to situations that had unwanted outcomes. This scared me every night until one day I met a new life that was introduced to me through a mutual friend. I started liking what I was hearing so I began pursuing this life more.
This new life will never be complete without the love of pursuing its happiness.
- In order to get my grass greener, I have to keep it fertilized.
- To remove worry and fear's pursuit on me, I have to take this risk and divorce the other life.
- In order to divorce Life #1, I have to learn to remove some of the bad teachings in my past and understand my future new ones that'll help me see my goals clearer.
- No more balancing out the two, I've let go of Life #1 and married into Life#2 till death do us part.
In this message the intent is not of a physical, human to human divorce or breakup. This is my personal breakup or divorce of my old life that had my landlord knocking at my door, or my lights or phone being disconnected, or not having cool air in my car when its hot outside and my wife and child is burning up while we're riding around.
My new life #2 which is here now with WA, has taught and will continue teaching me how to fertilize my grass to make it greener and keep it that way. Finally, I can yes to things that I had to say no to.

I appreciate every detail of this post. I am in the process of doing the same thing. I've gone through amazing life phases, and have had some great opportunities to see the world, but the most recent few years have not been enjoyable, and I'm tired of it.
I've started to use the word 'divorce' as you use it here, and it makes sense to me.
I very much appreciate that your Life #2 is working out for you, so it gives me hope.

I'm happy to see that you're motivated to move your life into a different light and to get rid of those UN-enjoyable moments. I believe that everyone should get a Life#2 to create great moments that they've never had.

It is almost a 'second' life.....websites, blogs, advertising, networking, .... but eventually it all falls into place, becomes second-nature .... this is an excellent post!
