I use ubersuggest, RankIQ, Google Keyword Tool and the results are much different than Jaxxy. Where can I learn more about what it considers when coming up with it's numbers? <

I use Jaaxy as a supplement to my research, but I don't trust it that much. I prefer to use Google Keyword research tool together with SemRush and other SEO tools. Also, when I write posts, I Google competitors' articles and see what keywords they have on theirs and try to make mine better. :D

Off topic, do you recommend RankIQ?

Honestly no, I put in vastly different questions with different root keywords and it spits out very similar lists. They do have almost 5,000 keyword lists you can look at. I noticed most of the suggested keywords were "then at" or "where to" or others For $60 a month, I didn't see the value at all.

Basically, what it does is pull the top 10 SERPs and ranks keyword density, and sell it to you as "super powerful, world-renowned AI" or whatever...

I am learning that if any tool sends you to a landing page and doesn't allow you to use it before paying 98% of the time it's spun version of a free API or you pay then have to pay more for "Credits" to do anything.

Check out www.seoreviewtools.com for 100% free tools that are decent enough for free. Hopefully, that's allowed. I don't own the site and I'm not selling anything. Not sure how known that site. If that's not allowed let me know and I'll remove the link.

Hope that helps!

there is no tool that will guarantee your content with that keyword will rank...
if it does then don't use it...
they will all differ, especially some of those you have highlighted as they do different jobs...
the google keyword planner doesn't give you info about ranking and that is mainly used for paid traffic ads...the difficulty score is how much it will cost you...
jaaxy is a basic keyword tool with little extra....
but sufficient for most to use to find low hanging fruit...
you can use more expensive keyword tools but the main thing is to write the content for your niche...
and to find the easy target keywords...
some tools do this easier than others...
rankiq maybe the better one to use if it will return the questions your niche are asking with competition and traffic data...
you can fond this in jaaxy, but it is a little more difficult..using the alphabet soup and then back into hte keyword tool or a saved list...
even if the figures differ the main takeaway is that poeple are searching for that keyword and hte big guys haven't targeted it ...
phil
what do i use...
a combination of google autocomplete search , keyword researcher pro, long tail pro( if i have to), question sites and seo powersuite....
do i look at the figures...not really as i am only interested in beating those on page one...so tend to look at the direct competition...can i beat them....

Hmmm, looking at my rank IQ, Can't seem to find traffic scores or any other data other than a "relevancy" which is basically density. Also don't see where it gives you any questions being asked other than showing SERPS, maybe not in the $60/month version? Maybe I am using it wrong? I did watch the videos.

Not my cup of tea for the money, I'll look into the ones you mentioned. I like Jaxxy, was just curious why numbers differ so much on some long-tail keywords and certain topics.

Personally, I like to figure out how tools are getting data to better understand how to use them and when. I also geek out on this stuff so, ignore me :)

Honestly, though, everything I've ever had rank in the past I spent 5-6 hours on, had lists, tables or graphs, cited a study or two from a trusted source and my own made infographic. Alot of work but, the quality content I've seen ranks quickly. I think Google is trying to up their standards. I've never had a basic blog post rank unless the title was put in quotes.

Just my experience, which is limited

So Jaaxy is simply a tool that reads data, right? It's not something that makes your content rank. Among other things, It's a tool that you can use to find keywords that have low competition.

From there you obviously still have to write the content on your own and place your keywords in the right place, create a quality post that gives value to your reader, etc.

Jaaxy's data comes directly from Google. So with Google being the leading search engine by far, finding low competition keywords is a huge tool in our arsenal as a first step to creating content that ranks. :)
