I'm struggling lately to focus. It seems that every time I sit down to do training, start my site, create some content. I am one google search away from 3 hours of unproductivity.

Oh look, the latest AI something, do I need these plugins? Oh man, look at these templates! I better create a logo on canva for a site I don't have!

Without this ability, I am destined to FAIL! I also have an addiction to domain names, thinking that one is so good I HAVE to scoop it up now. Jaxxy is NOT helping :).

But am I just being too hard on myself?

There are many times that going down the google search hole has led me to find some amazing things, programs, opportunities and resources to be used later. It's also caused me to spend more money than intended. Those dang lifetime software deals!

Honestly, I am seeking structure. A process of doing things that produce results nearly every time. I feel like not doing so is a huge waste of time. (So is doing nothing!) I don't want to just create content randomly without studying SERP, Density, etc. There are way too many resources and tools available to not put out decent quality work and it doesn't have to be expensive.

Anyway, just wanted to share my struggles with getting organized, finding my "system" and getting into the flow of putting out content.

So, any insight on creating a system, getting in the "flow" and focusing on production? What methods do you use to focus? Do you have a "structure" and process you follow pretty close each time you create a post?

Any comments are welcome. Thanks for reading!

William,

You certainly aren't alone. There are so many ways to get distracted, you just have to keep focused on your "why". What is it that you joined WA for in the first place? If you keep going back to your "why" it should keep you on track. It's hardest when all of the fun stuff is done and all that's left is to stay consistent with content creation. Hang in there, every day is one step closer to your goal!

I hear you William.

I can see you have built your website, congratulations.

If me I would start building content for my website addressing issues in relation to my chosen niche subject, later in time worry about designs, logo and all the other elements and bits.

Content takes the bulk of our sites.

I appreciate your blog post and share.
