Country Populations - Know Your Markets
As I have been reviewing information about the users of various Social Media Platforms I realised we also need to know country populations to really make sense of the numbers.
Here are the top 30 Countries, China To Spain .. plus four smaller counties of interest, Australia, Poland, Malaysia, Canada.

Don't forget it's not about population numbers, but about people who have disposable income to spend, especially when using paid traffic
Yes Catherine .. it is a good point .. and read in conjunction with the different social media market penetrations.
And there is more eg USA per capita GDP (PPP) is $57,220 while Indonesia is $11,699. BUT 60% of US population in on FB and 30% of Indonesians population is on FB. The Indonesian 30% is most the higher income earners. And it cost less than one tenth for FB paid traffic in Indonesia than in USA with lower competition .. all providing you can communicate in Bahasa of course .. LOL.
So there are a lot of variables.

Wow! India and China are ginormous relative to the rest. I knew they had large populations but when you see it on a graph it really hits you. Thanks for posting William.
