Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth it in 2021?
Is Wealthy Affiliate worth it? If you are a new member at Wealthy Affiliate, you may be wondering if Wealthy Affiliate is worth it or not. There are many ways to make money online but Wealthy Affiliate stands out from the rest of the competition. In case you don't know me, Hi my name is Wilmer and I've been a member here on WA since 2016. I would like to share my experience with you as to why I am still a member of this awesome community.

When I first joined in 2016, I was full of excitement and ready to learn this thing called “Affiliate Marketing”. At the time I was a complete newbie, I had zero experience with making a website or understanding how any of this works. I went through all the training and quickly learned how to set up my website and get it up running. Within a few days, I started to get some visitors which was pretty awesome. I learned about SEO, keyword searching, and much more.
During this time my life had taken a negative turn (nothing to do with WA) so I stopped paying attention to the online blog I had built with WA. Little by little I spent less time on here, so I decided to start an Instagram page for my photography. I started doing photography about 2 years ago and I had zero experience with growing a following. I remembered that Wealthy Affiliate taught how to grow your audience so I quickly went back and reviewed that specific course. Before I decided to take up photography I asked myself, “Is it worth learning photography today to make money?” Today, I am an NYC based photographer that has a following of 15k on Instagram. I know what you're thinking, nowadays 15k isn't that much right? but what if 15k people showed up to your house? does it seem like a lot now?
Because of all the things I learned in Wealthy Affiliate I was able to grow my following and Work with amazing brands such as Sigma Lens, Thursday Boots, and many smaller brands. I was able to connect and work with many people in the music industry and even people from Forbes top 5 influencer list Which is pretty insane when you think about it!
I decided to make another page using the same methods I learned here on Wealthy Affiliate and grew a new page to 109k active followers! That has been one stream of income. Apart from making money on Instagram, I sell my photos and Lightroom presets which generate an additional source of income.
It wasn’t until I started making sales with my presets that I started to believe that You can truly make a living online. I was much younger in 2016 when I first started Wealthy Affiliate and was a bit sceptical due to being burned in the past.
I mentioned that there are many ways to make money online and I wasn’t joking about that. There are a lot of opportunities out there but they all come down to the basic root principles being taught here on Wealthy Affiliate. You need to pick a Niche, Stay with it, Grow an audience, and offer something people are willing to pay for.
I am revisiting Wealthy Affiliate with a new mindset and will be creating a page around making money online. In the upcoming days, I hope to share with you all some new experience and numbers!
So, is Wealthy Affiliate worth it in 2021? Yes. Yes, it is in my opinion. When you are new everything is overwhelming and confusing. Wealthy Affiliate provides structural guidance which you can take step by step at your own pace. If you are stuck, there is an amazing community that will help and guide you along the way. Everyone here is like a family and ready to help out the best way that they can. Don’t be afraid and start today. Now more than ever more and more people are online and at home due to the pandemic. People are wanting new content and new perspectives. Even if you think the market is over-saturated, still take a chance because you have something to offer unique to you which sets you apart from all the rest.

Nice story, thank you for sharing.
I agree with you WA is a great base to build on using what is taught here. It is not an expensive place to be even if (like many) we find ourselves not making money from it.
The things taught here allow us to move forward and build our dreams.
You cannot put a price on that.
