Made My First Sale!! 12 whole Cents!
Well, I've been here about 2 mo. now, and I absolutely love it, my creativity has a taken a hold of me and I am on a roll, submitting articles, utilizing social networks and such, and today it finally happened. I got my fist sale from Amazon! OK, so someone purchased an E-book for $2.99 called "Make Him Beg to be Your Boyfriend in 6 Easy Steps", and my cut was a whole 12 cents. Am I crazy for wanting to pat my self on the back and go celebrate? lol.
I guess i'm pretty thrilled about it because during this whole process i've been so unsure if I was doing everything correctly and learning to use the computer itself was quite an endeavor, so what I need to know now is there any of you out there who can advise me on how to get the best out of Amazon, and the other affiliate stores/markets? Maybe there are certain products that sell better than others?

As far as products that sell betters than others that it's going to have to test out for yourself. A product might sell on one site better than another site just because of the demographic of the people who visit the sites.
Although, I know that clickbank has quite a few relationship products that give you a hire commission. I don't know how good a lot of them are, but you can ask the merchant for a review copy.
If you decide it's something you want to promote after going through it, then promote. If not then keep on doing it until you find a product you like.
Thank you for your reply, about Clickbank, it doesnt seem like you can set up a free store on your site the way you can with Amazon, is this true? That's a bummer because of the higher comission..if you can't...
