Yes, you read the title right. Why you do not need a website to earn money on the side. I know you've probably heard to build a list, put an optin form on your website to collect leads who you can promote to.

The Simple Differences Between A Website And A Funnel

The main difference is a website does not sell. A funnel is designed to sell and earn you money. A website educates the consumer on the topic you are writing about. Yes you can target buyer keywords but in order to sell you have to get them into a funnel.

If you promote affiliate products, network marketing products, digital products, coaching programs or even masterminds there is always a funnel that makes the ultimate sale or gets the individual on the phone so you can close them.

Should I Stop Building A Website?

The simple answer is no but building a funnel will allow you to earn money a lot faster than your website will. Plus, the money you earn with your funnel can allow you to build out your website and boost the authority of it in a lot less time (without having to do the work yourself because you will have money to spend on VA's).

It is not about the "how" but the "who". Think of it this way. Instead of how am I going to get this done who can I hire to do this for me. Trust me the guys who are making money online are not doing the work themselves. They are having someone do it for them.

This allows them to do the things they enjoy doing instead of the grunt work of doing it themselves (spending time with family, traveling, golfing, fishing, going to cross fit and the list goes on and on.

A website is a way of getting free traffic from the search engines to your funnel. But it is not the fastest way.

How To Get Traffic To My Funnel?

In this Section I am going to point out some free and paid options you can use to get traffic directly into your funnel.

Free Sources Of Leads For Your Funnel

The hottest source right now is Tik Tok. If you are not publishing content (15 to 30 seconds videos is optimal) on tik tok you NEED TO START NOW!!! That is not a mere suggestion but an order. The first ten days do nothing but participate in #growparties #makemegoviral. Let me preface it you will need to have your profile optimized. Check the list for what you will need.

Tik Tok Profile MUST HAVES

• Profile Picture (a close up selfie
• Change your username to your actual (or brand) name (do not leave it at the default username)
• Change the account type to PRO only (this gives access to analytics and you can insert your link of your funnel optin page.
• profile description Only allows 80 characters so tell them who you are and how you can help them or your product can help them get the results they want.
• Create and post 12 Tik Tok Videos with attention grabbing cover.

So after you have your profile optimized you will participate in the grow parties. Tik Tok is still a platform where people will typically follow you back if you follow them. Take advantage of that know while it still is.

You will only participate in these grow parties until you reach 10k followers. At 10k you gain a trust factor with the tik tok AI.

From there your videos are more likely to show up on the For You Page (get seen by more people) and your followers will go up greatly from there.

At this point you will move into content creation mode. Post six times a day 9 to 11 a.m., 1 to 3 pm, and after 7 pm (your local time period or if your outside the U.S. use a vpn and post at the time period of the location you set your vpn at. If you choose a vpn in New York then post at these times in Eastern Standard Time (UTC-4).

• Do Giveaways after you reach 10K (amazon gift cards, visa gift cards 10 to 25 bucks

Have A CTA in every Video (follow me, like this video, leave a comment, tag a friend who needs to see this and in two of your videos tell them to hit the link in your profile (your funnel optin page).

YouTube - Get over your fear and publish

YouTube is the second largest search engine behind its big brother. Even if you do not have a following. It is a search engine so optimize the title, description, tags and file names. So what converts well on YouTube. How to videos, reviews, best of's and so on. The first line of the description should have your main keyword. add your link to your funnel and a short sentence on how it will help them.

Only the top line is visible so make this space count. DO NOT stuff keywords in the description but do write a good description containing your secondary keywords. YouTube limits description to 5000 characters so be concise. To speed it up create a description template for future use.

Facebook, Instagram or any social media

The Right Way

Optimize your profile (cover photo, profile photo of your face, bio (what you do and how you can help them, make everything public and add your funnel URL in the website location.

DO NOT, LET ME REPEAT ****DO NOT*****

Do not post any external links into your Facebook post (Facebook will not show them to anyone). Instead create curiosity in your post and FB lives and direct them via a CTA to either message you, click your website on your profile or if you have a FB Chatbot set up have them comment what ever term you use in your chatbot (You can use this as a FB funnel, it can interact with them on autopilot via messenger. There are several ways to set it up. You can ask them question and see where they are at and via there responses direct them to where you ultimately want them to go (Your money making funnel).

Between Tik Tok, YouTube and Facebook you can generate enough leads to easily replace your income from your J.O.B. The time it takes will only be limited by the action you take. But I do HIGHLY suggest you commit to post content every day. 1 post a day on Facebook, 6 tik toks and at least 1 YouTube video everyday. If you do that for the next year your life will change forever. Imagine building something today that pays your childrens children. How is that for a legacy to leave your decendents.

Following the right DMO (daily method of operation) this should take an hour maybe two max. If you have more time great you can speed up the process and create more YouTube videos, participate in niche relevant groups (not spamming but provide value.

Paid methods to drive traffic

you want to decrease the amount of time it takes to reach your first, second, third or 10th income goal. You will need to scale your traffic with paid traffic. Of course you will need to target your ads to get them into the eyes of your Dream Customer. It is more important to spend more money to get your offer to the right people than get cheap untargeted traffic to the wrong people.

Before running any advertisement make sure you have at least a Facebook tracking pixel in the head of your funnel thank you page. I would also suggest you have the same for google and YouTube. Why being able to use re targeting ads is a lot cheaper and the person has already seen your content at least once.

• E-zine advertising (yes still very effective)

With Paid ads you MUST invest in quality training and most important COACHING.

If you want this to pay you like a business you must invest money otherwise you are fooling yourself and it is only a hobby. So do a mental self inspection as see what it is your truly want. If you do not want to make it a business I suggest you stop right now and go do something else.

Online marketing is not for everyone. If its not for you then that's okay. You have the option to continue going to work for the next 10, 20 or 30 years and earn a steady paycheck (unless you get laid off or fired), retire and live on social security or what small investments you have made and have nothing to leave your children.

OR

You can take this serious, invest in your education, tools, coaching, advertising and you can live the life God intended you to live. As Dave Ramsey says "Do today what others are unwilling so you can give tomorrow like no other".

So the key point is are you selfish or do you want to grow personally and financially so you can give to others (yourself, family and community).
