my blog is written but I dont know how to share it to my FB
Jerry nailed it Wendy. I have a page as well as a normal account, so I post it on my page and then share it on my timeline. It's worth sharing on any of your social media. It just gets it out there.
thank you. I copy and pasted -all good, but the link is not functioning on FB. any ideas? (i deleted the post until I could sort this out)
Sorry no, Wendy. I just put the URL in the 'What's on your mind ?' section and hit 'enter'. The Facebook should retrieve a picture, the title and some text, from the post.
Once it has done that, I press 'post' and it appears on my timeline.
Is it worth logging out of Facebook and logging back in, maybe on a fresh tab ?
Simply copy the URL of your blog and paste it into a new FB post. A small introduction would be advisable, like the first few sentences and then your URL.

How do i share my blog to my facebook?
my blog is written but I dont know how to share it to my FB
Hi Wendy, if you do not have too many plugins you may want to use a social media share plugin. I personally use sharaholic.
Best wishes,
Michael

how can I alter a blog which I have written and is published on WA?
Go on that WA blog. Click the drop-down arrow on what looks like a gear and either click edit or delete.
found the gear and altered my blog. The gear was hidden until I expanded the full content of the blog. These tricks are meant to make you stronger or to give up. smile and thanks again.

i need to get the 1000 images accessible to my already published web page
Hi Wendy, if you go to your wordpress editor go to the post you want to add the images to click on edit. When the post comes up click add media. If the image is in your media library click on insert.
If you know where you want the image to appear click in that area, click your space bar so the image has the room. Make sure your cursor is where you first clicked. The image will appear at that location, you can edit the size and location from here. If the image is not in your media library, go to upload media into the media add an alt description and insert.
I hope I understood your question accurately.
Best wishes,
Michael
That is a lot of images... @Jewelia is right. Suggest you organized into folders as you may need time to upload that amount of images.
thanks Stanley I just want to learn the process not to move all the 1000 images. My poor explaining sorry. how do you make a new folder?
You can't move them. It's actually 1 000 000+ images - not 1000. You don't WANT to have them all on your website. But you can still use some of them after your page is published as I explained in another comment.
You can't access them directly from your website. You can create a new document in SiteContent, choose and insert the images you need for your published page, download them and then upload them to WordPress.
Once you've created your folder of images, go to wp admin, click on media->add new. You can upload entire folder or individual images.
Hi Wendy.
There is no direct connection from images in SiteContent to WordPress. Download pictures to your computer (mouse right-click, save as). Upload to WordPress.
Or, if you "Publish" the document with your selected images, you can delete the published post or page right after (before it was indexed by Google) - images will stay in the media library.
Do you mean in site content? You can just click on the icon next to the spelling check icon and type in what kind of image you are searching for.
in site content you can access 1000 images as you build your post.
I want to get those images so I can use them in WP on an already published web page. Jewella above has given me an answer which I am going to try
