Recommended Reading 46-50
And so I reach the last installment for this year, with book recommendations 46-50.
This has been a truly remarkable year, one which has made us appreciate that we are indeed fallible and that not everything is as we would like or wish. However we must look forward to 2021 with renewed enthusiasm, with a winning mindset and a desire to do the best we can in all aspects of our lives.
46. The Ultimate Marketing Plan. Dan S. Kennedy.....One of my favourite authors, here Dan intergrates tools such as social media, networking and strategic membership into a complete plan offering ideas to catapult us to the cutting edge.
47. Master Course-The Original Science of Success.....Napolean Hill. Published in August this book is series of lessons narrated by Napolean to many of his students in Chicago in 1953. Ever lesson is as useful today as it was then, and it outlines the easiest, most direct path to fulfilling your greatest potential. I would describe it as one of the most complete self improvement books ever narrated. Don't miss this one!
48. Virtual Selling. Jeb Blount.....A quick start guide to leveraging video technology and virtual communication channels to engage remote buyers and close deals fast. I particular like chapter 19 entitled, "Pick up the Damn Phone". Great read
49. Million Dollar Mailings. Dension Hatch.....An exclusive inside look at the art of direct mail and creative technique, copy approaches, design, formats, offers, unlike anything ever before assembled. This covers the new trends in direct mail which should not be forgotton about when contacting clients, prospects and patients.
50. Moments of Truth. Jan Carlzon.....A book abouit the importance of being a leader rather than a boss and there are many great lessons here for us all. A boss makes decisions and gives orders to employees, resulting in a trickle down organisation where only the only people, those front line workers understand the end users problems but don't have the authority to change things....Or do they?
That's it and while only a handful of you have made their way to the end of these list, I hope you will get many hours of learning and enjoyment from the ones you choose to read.
Wishing you and your family peace, health, happiness and prosperity in 2021
Merry Christmas Everyone

There they are, the next 5. Now I have 50 books to go through and select which ones to read in addition to the 3 that I have right now. Thanks a lot Trevor and Merry Christmas everyone
Great list, Trevor! I am nowhere near being ready for an email list, but Million Dollar mailings looks to be a promising candidate! Enjoy your day!
Jeff
