Affiliate Marketers Create Lies
I am at the point where I am somehow irritated when I see most online adverts. The worst of all seeing so much spam, fake reviews, misrepresentation of information and lies.
# No.1 Lie - Do NothingYou don't have to do anything. All is done for you funnels lies. Have you ever found yourself buying into this type of lie? To know what you will have to do to earn money, just follow the advertiser and see how many times they post online, Facebook, Instagram etc. If there was nothing to do, then why are they advertising? When you purchase whatever program or product they are promoting, the nothing you will have to do it the same they are doing.
Why did I fell for these online magic funnels and or promises? I was desperate and genuinely looking for an answer to pay off my debts. Online magic funnels make monies from desperate people just like me.
I have so far learned that all the rich people understand one principle, you will never make millions without genuine an honest work.

These have a common word called Marketing. It is defined as
"the action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising"
You need a customer to buy your product and as a result you will need to promote. The advert is a sales person in print. The sole purpose of your advert is to actually get you a sale as opposed to getting your name out there. We thank the internet for the speed of getting our products in front of the customer or the target audience.
However, I have seen how often I have hated to receive certain adverts because their assumption is that we all must work from home. There are brilliant adverts out there which will keep you searching for the advertiser.
Your advert is carrying your name and it may either present you as a credible person or dishonest liar and scammer. You and only you can choose how you are perceived as a person.
#Lie No 3-Earn Money SleepingDo we earn money sleeping? Anyone who is earning money sleeping must please inbox me. The same people who make these promises will invite you to countless webinars and continuously creates YouTube Videos. Does that sound or look like sleep?
Online business is like any other business. If you really want to make money, be willing to put effort. You must first create value in all that you are doing. People unsubscribe easier from an online business when they feel disappointed and when they don't feel to be supported. This can easily destroy your reputation through same channels you used to get them.
#Lie No 4-I will show you how I made my moneyMost of these quick rich promising online affiliate marketers display arrogance and sound like money is all people need. They will claim to help you to succeed but will never know your name except the money they receive. You will receive most impersonal automated e-mail swipes and even though you ask for help, most of them will never reply to you.
I joined one of those magic funnels and got started with the program. I was expecting not to do anything but simply promote the link... but to my surprise after the purchase, I was sent to the other presentation where I was told to actually purchase another tool that will actually make sure that I can earn money on auto-pilot. Imagine $17, $59, $500, and $1000 ....... The person I joined through his link never contacted me to check how I was doing in the business. I had to figure it myself and try to follow up on this magic. .... Where is the help?
I must honestly say that I am grateful because this was a school fees of ignorance and desperation until I found Wealthy Affiliate.

Thanks for this post. I, too, have been scammed by promises that weren't kept, and upselling after I thought I had bought everything I needed to succeed. I guess that's why I value the help and training and people who are sincerely interested in helping me succeed here at WA. Many times I've seen comments that WA is not a get rich scheme in posts, and I am thankful for that, as I wouldn't want anyone I recommend to WA to believe that I steered them wrong. Honesty and integrity goes a long ways toward an unblemished reputation.
I have to disagree with your No. 3. in this sense:
Affiliate Marketing CAN make you money while you sleep.
I'm not saying that you can buy a "system" and while you sleep something automatic will make all the work for you. No that's in fact is far from the reality. And yes, I agree that some scammy and very low-quality programs out there claim to do this...
However, as your business grows, and that your traffic increases, someone from the other side of the planet is awake and visiting your affiliate website, while you are sleeping. And if in fact that person buys from your affiliate link, then you are making money while you are sleeping!
So yes you can make money while sleeping and to quote the famous Warren Buffet:
"If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die!"

Thank you Fleeky. It is just that some marketers give an impression that our business is for lazy people who don't know business ethics. They share screen shots creating a false impression to the listeners.
There are lot of credible people I have met online who would share the truth that it will takes sometime before you see the money in your bank account.

Thanks for sharing. You have to work hard if you want to make some money affiliate marketing. This is not a quick Rick scheme. If you work on your website enough, you can sell some things. Me, I've been sick lately and I have not been able to work on my websites.
