Just Over Six Months
It has been just over six months now with Wealthy Affiliate. Can't say that it has been easy, but I have learned so much and have had the privilege of learning so much from some very knowledgeable people here.
A little history here, if you don't mind? My education was not taken to seriously when I was young, so not much was accomplished in attaining any wisdom of English, Literature, Math or anything else that required a lot of work. I did enjoy History, and that is one thing I do know. As a result, I was doomed to a life of physical labor in the oil industry and then the trucking industry. The knowledge that I gained from these two industries is incalculable as they are both unique occupations.
I did not know much about writing or computers when I signed on with Wealthy Affiliate. I have always been interested in literature, how to create good articles, and have read a lot in my spare time. Computers were something that puzzled me because I still want to know how something works.
My logic for joining WA was not so much about earning a lot of money, but to learn how to write good articles and what makes a computer run. I think I have learned a lot since joining, with more to accomplish. Currently, have two websites up and running. Neither is making any money, except for a couple of Amazon purchases made by my wife. One of my blogs is hanging in there on page one, in the number one spot of Google and Bing, another is on page one, number one in Yahoo and another is on page two of Google. Not too bad for an unschooled truck driver.
Have not been too helpful to a lot of people in the community, but I am hoping to change that. Kyle and Carson always promote the idea of helping people, and I have found out that assisting other members not only helps them, but it helps you too. Responding to other members questions, helps learn more and makes you a better writer. Making Site Comments helps your fellow members, and it helps you. You can get some ideas on how to improve your sites and enables you, with the help of Grammarly, to create better content. There is a reason for everyting taught here.
Like to thank everyone involved in creating this excellent program, as there has been a lot of work put into this system. Also, like to thank everyone that has helped me so far in my journey into something I knew little about six months ago. Thanks to all for a great six months. Wayne
