Fulfilling a Promise to a Friend

Awhile back, a good friend of mine here at WA had a Birthday, and had written a Blog about it, and mentioned an Apple Oatmeal Pie with a recipe she was going to treat herself to.

I responded with a hearty Birthday Wish, and that I would enjoy making this delicious Pie, and send her one of my favorite recipes from Mom's, Mom's Mom. I'm sure there are enough of you who know what I am talking about.

Now since this appears to have nothing to do with building a business here, let me connect some of the dots of similarity so that it will apply. Like a Recipe, with the right ingredients added at the right times, and the proper methods followed, the finished product can be enjoyed.

Clicking the "Get Started Here" tab, and then beginning the Entrepreneur Certification Course or Bootcamp depending on your pursuit. Following the classes lesson by lesson & completing each task produces the ability to know how to build a business online the right way, and on to success.

Key Ingredients:

  • Niche
  • Website
  • Content
  • Keywords
  • Heart for your Audience
  • Posts
  • Blogs
  • Pay-it-Forward Mindset

Now we'll get to my Recipe:

Old Fashioned Coffee Cake

Preheat oven to 350 F or 180 Celsius.

1/2 cup Butter (Cream the Butter & Sugar together, then add the

1 cup Sugar 2 Eggs & Almond Flavoring mixing well)

2 Eggs

1 tsp Almond Flavoring

In a seperate bowl add the dry ingredients:

2 Cups Flour

3 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Salt

Add these dry ingredients alternately with 1 1/2 cups milk to the sugar mixture. Pour into a greased & floured 9" X 9" Baking pan

.

Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour unevenly over top of Batter in pan.

Mix 1 cup of Sugar with 1 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of Cake evenly.

Next, take a butter knife, and draw the knife across the pan back and forth from side to side in both directions.

Place in oven at 350 F or 180 Degrees Celsius. Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

You will most definitely make this more than once. Why??? Because everyone's favorite piece will be the middle. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

ENJOY

Now go bake your success here at WA, and be sure and share!!!

The cake looks really yummy. Thanks for sharing.

Yep, and Erica, if we follow the recipe that Kyle & Carson have given us, our success will look really yumm . :-)

Like the analogy but the cake looks REALLY good!!!!! ~Debbi

Thanks Debbi, it was, and so was Loes Apple Oatmeal Pie. :-)

Looks like a family favourite Wayne, really like your analogy.

Yep, Evan, the cake is a Family favorite here at my house, and The WA Recipe is a Family favorite here at WA.

Nice job Wayne and a great segue into the WA aspect of your blog. And the cake? It looks absolutely scrumptious my good man.

Hope you are well and shared that creation with someone close to you. But wait! you did! WE........now have the recipe.

Thanks Wayne. and all the best to you.

Hey, it's Wayne. Great to hear from you. Been awhile since I blogged. Thought it was time since I am not working today. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out Keywords. I'll get it, but this one day a week really puts a wrench in my desire. I get really impatient, and want to get things going. :-)

Did you check out my recent blog. It helped me put things in perspective. I want to get it done too but it seems speed is not my forte.

Ah man you just made my mouth water, my stomach growl and you did it all while instilling the need for me to have cake! Dad is great, he feeds me coffee cake ... lol ...

Ok, ok, ok I know, really corny!

Great job tying both business and pleasure together into one.

Hey, buddy, good to see & hear your around and Kickin" lol. Can't believe my Son left the middle for me, when I originally left it for him. Mmmmmmm

Good to hear from youu too! Hope all is well with you and yours. That was very thoughtful of your son! I'd have ate it lol :-)

Gladly let ya have it. Lol

Wow, that really looks good! Thanks so much for sharing. I've got to try this as I know my kids will love it. :)

Don't stand between your kids & the middle piece. Lol Thankyou Michelle. Gotta keep this principle in check now when I get discouraged or overwhelmed. Follow the recipe.

Looks delicious. A good analogy to building a business.

Thankyou, had to at least make it connect with WA, and when I thought of "recipe" "ingredients" it came to me. Building a Business follows a recipe as well, and if you use wrong ingredients you come out with wrong results. :-)

Sounds delicious! I can almost smell the sweet spicy cinnamon fragrance here:))

Yeah, the lil ones will fight over the center piece. :-)

I am sure they will, looks very sugar full:)

Droooooool!

Did ya try Loes Apple Oatmeal Pie, Wowzer!!! Talk about Droooool

That looks good enough to eat, I will show this to my wife.

Marty

Loes was outstanding too. Never made a pie with grated Apples, and found that Apple Cake is a favorite in Holland. Enjoy
