Can anyone please share experiences of long-term success?

Dear Friends and Followers of WA, I would love it if you can answer this question if it applies to you or someone you know in the business of affiliate marketing.I think this question belongs rather as a blog than in the area for technical questions.

I became a yearly member of WA 4 months ago.At the time I thought I had a lot of free time and would be able to invest at least 20 hours per week in creating my business.One month after that, a situation changed in my private life, and this brought changes also to my financial situation.

I haven’t had much time to work on my business so far,I had to find urgent solutions first and look for a full time job. Now things are finding some stability again and I don’t want to give up the whole idea of my business in affiliate marketing.I have the yearly membership and am planning to keep working on it if only during the weekends.And I’m planning to remain a yearly member because this is obviously gonna take me much longer than I thought.I’m still writing the very first articles of my website’s framework and have no affiliate memberships yet to the products I’m interested in.

So this is my question:

Has anyone here managed to set their affiliate marketing business while working on in only during the weekends? Let’s say,an average of 3-4 hours per weekend? How long did it take you until your website was complete,indexed, and getting traffic?And how long until your first earnings?How long until you actually felt successful?

I don’t wanna give up at all but it would help me a lot if I hear a couple of positive experiences despite very little time.Would be really grateful ifyour situation is / was similar and you can share your story.
