This Is Tough, But A Lot Of Fun
Its been a little over 2 and a half weeks (I think) since joining WA and I'm almost done with level two training. Its been a lot, but boy I am learning a ton. Before I signed up, I was seriously looking at a very expensive program that focused on Digital Real Estate. In essence, the program offered three (3) paths to online revenue, digital agencies, affiliate marketing, and course creation. Unfortunately, you had to pay for all three and I was thisclose to doing so, when I came across a YouTube channel (Vitaly) that was so straightforward and clear that I watched and clicked on the affiliate link to WA.
I couldn't believe that to sign up was free. I did so just to see if this was different from what I was considering, and boy was it. I was immediately struck by the robustness of the platform and the clear organization of the training. I just felt like my energy had brought me to this place and this community. After just a few days, I upgraded to Premium and it was clearly worth it right away in the access to features on the platform, getting my own premium domain, and the automated features like SEO optimization. I also enjoy being part of the community to keep me accountable but also to be around people who are working toward the same goals without feeling like we are competing. After all, there are 4 billion people using the inter web, so there's enough cheese to go around.
I'm trying to plow through the training, but just when it seems I'm speeding up, the lessons direct you to create content. Pesky! It then slows me down for at least a day, but its worth it. Its tough but I am actually learning more about my niche (helping folks over 50 beat fatigue/live more fully) and am slowly gaining more confidence. The only problem is I am on the WA platform all day and half the night and I have a day job that I need to keep until this starts paying off!
Its tough, but its fun. Thanks community and thanks WA.

Hi, I'm at level 3 of the first training, lesson 2--and I have to join at least one affiliate network. I think I want to do ClickBank but it directs me to their Spark platform, which is another course at $47/mo. Is this something I need? This just seems to be a rabbit hole. Any advice?
Happy to hear you are enjoying yourself here Vince and congratulations on your progress so far!
Try not to rush the training, take it at your own pace and learn as much as you can...
Building any successful business is never easy, but the rewards will be worth it in the end my friend!
You're very welcome Vince!
Do you know Lyon??
And WA is going great for me so far my friend!
Great to have you here Vince! We have courses here on the same topics too. What you're learning now is affiliate marketing but the other 2 things you mentioned (digital agencies and course creation) is also taught.
Local marketing is basically digital agencies and we have PLENTY of that here: Local Marketing Training - All under one roof And as for online courses, you can use your existing site you're building to create an online course later if you'd like, or you can just stick to promoting affiliate products if you want.
We teach everything you need here.
Much appreciated Vitaliy. Please forgive me for mis-spelling your name in my post. I will definitely be more careful.

Hello VW, I like your post. The training at Wealthy Affiliate is excellent. Much to learn, and at times it might seem overwhelming. But what you need to remember, is that you are not in a race. So take your time with the training, go at your own pace. Your goal should be to, read a portion of the material, get to understand it, and apply it. Then you move to the next.
Take it bit by bit, this will prevent you from being overwhelmed, discouraged and frustrated. Remember the saying,"Rome was not built in a day". It is true here also. You are in a long journey. Your goal is to do everything well, so that you can successfully accomplish your goals and dreams
Wealthy affiliate is the place for you to do that. Take your time, apply yourself and don,t rush it, and you will succeed.
Thank you for the insight. Much appreciated!
