Hey everyone, I'm wondering if there's a chance that I hurt my website if I request too many comments on my posts. I will appreciate if you can help me understand this.

No, not a chance, it will actually help your site. More comments means more content (which search engines love) and it also means the page is updated when a new comment is posted (which search engines also love:)
