How to Use Pinterest Trends to Find Highly Popular Keywords (And Get Traffic With Them)
Pinterest Trends is an amazing tool you can use for free to find popular keywords for growing topics in YOUR niche. In my case I run a nature account and so the Pinterest trends will show me popular and growing trends in my topic/niche. What I'm looking for is popular topics related to my niche I can make more pins/boards and content on my site for.
Here's an example of how I'm using this:
- I go to Pinterest Trends
- I see the keyword "Big Sur California" is up 300X in searches (an amazing sign)
- I make an article on my site which uses the keyword Big Sur California in the title and a few times in the content and add about 10 images in the article
- I then go to Pinterest and make a new board that's titled: Big Sur California
- I then make 20 pins in that board, 10 image pins and 10 TOBI pins all linking back to my article and let it marinate
- Then I rinse and repeat with other keywords I find in Pinterest trends

Hey Vitaliy, I use the Pinterest Trends tool frequently. As you have shown in your video - Pinterest Trends is telling us exactly what's working and directs us toward trending keywords. I'll often scan the trends within my niche and then compose articles that link. It's another great analysis tool to use and get into the habit of monitoring for keywords that are popular.

Currently I have about 500,000 impressions a month and over 5,000 visitors to my site coming in (and growing).
Great. How many months before seeing these great results?
It seems I'm in love with text, the articles, not the images, and that makes it harder for me to work with Pinterest consistently, which is why I don't see results from it.
Any advice?

Well great results are subjective. It typically takes a few months for pins to start showing good results, but you have to stay consistent in posting daily, while following good SEO principals like targeting popular keywords and making nice looking pins.
Totally agree Vitaliy, daily pinning makes a huge difference on Pinterest. Just wondering, do you use any scheduler or do you post manually?
Good question. I was about to ask because I always forget. I have forgotten to post a pin today!

I just post manually. If anything I make my pins ahead of time and when the right time of the day hits, I just take about 10 minutes to upload them.

Just a note: if your audience in Pinterest is not large enough, the "Growing trends" are displayed at the bottom of the page with no data. I tried to find some info about the audience size, but Pinterest doesn’t publish a minimum number of followers or viewers.
