So today I feel sore, sick, tired and like I choose the wrong niche. I am having such difficulty with pinterest, I can not grasp what to do. I made a business account, but I can not start a board nor do I know how to link my account with my blog post. I blog about crafts and I truly enjoy doing it but I am overwhelmed.

Hello Gail, Don't feel overwhelmed. There are courses you can take that can help you through the maze that is Pinterest. Here's one from the Udemy Course Website: https://www.udemy.com/course/pinterest-marketing-from-a-to-z-for-beginners-experts/ (it costs $19.99 and probably worth it to get you on track. I recently completed Pinteresting Strategies 2.0 (cost is $97). You can find that one here: https://www.blogginglikeyoumeanit.com/pinteresting-strategies-2. Of course, I understand that this depends on what you can afford.

I am not affiliated with either of these courses.

Good luck and best wishes,
Jenni.

Hi Gail
I've just published a post here on a very similar subject... it's not personal... I wrote it yesterday... :-)

I know that feeling. When you just start you feel like everything is too difficult and it will take you ages to learn, how ever the heck will I get to understand how to do it.
Rest assured, after a few trials and errors, you will get it.
If I can do it, you can do it.
Stephen

Thank you Stephen

Breathe....you are not alone. We have all been there at some times in our lives.

Push through and write about how you are feeling, listen to music, take a walk, and /or go do somethingnice for yourself, you deserve it!! You need it...

By doing so, you will unblock your path, and realign.

Then return to your website and find a starting point....

Rudy

Thank you Rudy

You're welcome!

I think at some point we’ve all had the same feelings. When I first started I didn’t know where to start, got off on the wrong foot with the direction (and niche) of my website and thought I was going drown or give-up!

However, the WA community to the rescue! Many helped right my ship, got me back on track (some are on this chain BTW) helped re-motivate me and helped me understand where to start training.

I redid my website, and followed the training. While I still have a long way to go, I can say with certainty that my website is gaining authority on Google and I feel confident that I’m on the right track (all signs seem to be pointing that way).

Some advice: Follow the training track closely and don’t deviate from it!

I would also suggest you take a break for a day or two maybe — clear your mind, you’ll feel a better and will be able to focus better.

Question: Why do you feel you chose the wrong niche?

-Mike

Well, I feel there is not a lot of revenue in the crafting supplies. I need to advertise some high $ items or something. I don't know I am just gloomy today.
