Slowly but Surely!

Good afternoon every one.
 I’m working through the training and trying to keep up with my daily written content. It does feel very hectic and sometimes frustrating. It turns out that I can write up content a lot faster than completing the training. What happens is that I want a website that looks very professional, even though I am not yet a professional. So I want to add things that I may not have taking a training on, but that is where you guys come in. I have always been able to ask a question about how to do a certain action, and I have always gotten some really great answers and help. I must say thank you to the.WA community.

So I wanted just give a status update. I think that I’m doing ok so far. For someone who has no experience in websites, I feel like I’m doing things on the computer that I didn’t think that I could do. My website is all set up, I have successfully chosen my niche (ONLINE DATING - A Woman’s Perspective).


I have successfully completed two levels. It’s slow going though, because I am constantly writing content. I’ve always loved to write and create, and. WA Has giving me a platform to which I can exercise that creativity. So far I have managed to publish 6 articles, all of which meet the criteria set on the Content template.

Additionally, I have learned and executed adding pictures to my website and posts. People love big colorful pictures. Not only do the contain information on what you’re talking about, but it’s entertaining to! A picture is worth 1000 words yawl!

The next thing that I learned how to do was to embed a slideshow onto my posts. I finally figured that whole process out with the help of WA. I love it when things are active on the page. I like a lot of movement on my posts. It makes the posts stand out. In addition to that it looks nice and it gives people a reason to engage with me to a certain level. This will be useful, especially since I would like to eventually monetize the post. People will stay on your post longer If you give them something to look at, something to engage with. For me, this means that once I add my advertising links, they will be a bigger chance of getting that click!

I learned about embedding a video to my posts. I’m still learning on this subject, but I have successfully added videos to three of my posts. There is still much to learn about adding videos and how. But I am confident that I can learn it just like embedding a slideshow. It going to give my readers a chance to actually see someone talk about the subject they’re reading about. Again this keeps them on the page longer.My goal going forward is to keep moving step-by-step, training by training, post by post until I have enough content and enough experience to monetize the pages. I would like to thank everyone for all of your help and all of your support. It really means a lot to me.
