A New Day - A New Week to Enjoy

A new day - a new week. Monday 14th September 2020 is a day to smile about.

The sun is shining and the temperature is warm.

There is nothing else to celebrate other than winter having taken a slight move backwards, allowing the season of Spring to appear quietly into this west coast region by the name Kapiti.

Before moving here almost five years ago I was warned of the cooler temperatures. That was not going to bother me, so I thought. Funny how thoughts can change when experiencing reality!

So, with a strong sign of winter temperatures almost behind this region, I'm planning on more activity and being part of the WA community more often. My feeling has been one of dropping off the edge of a platform. Not a nice feeling!

Inspiration offered by Jay in his 72 hour challenge is something I took advantage of. Therefore, I cannot stay long here as I have only a few hours to go before publishing my post, not yet completed.

I hope that wherever you are in the world, you are enjoying your day.

I look forward being here again soon.

With best wishes to all,

Where we live is called a temperate climate, we don’t have winter , it’s still 30 degrees c here. The lowest it will ever go is 16 degrees c. In feb March and April then back up into the high 20’s for May and June then 30’s July August September. So we don’t really have seasons. Have a great week

What a wonderful climate, Lisa. I think I need to move to where you live.

Oh, just remembered the virus. I don't think I'll get out of here easily so I'll just try to be thankful for what I have :)

You have a great week too.

Good Morning Valerie,

Spring is definitely my favorite season. I love to see how nature comes to life again after a winter sleep. Being on the opposite side of the globe here I see the first telltale signs of autumn. The old mulberry tree on the patio has lost its first leaves.
Spain is still a "masked" country and to tell you the truth I am getting tired of it. This summer it was no fun wearing a mask in the village with the heat. You are lacking air, it is as simple as that.

Greetings from the south of Spain,

Taetske

Good Evening Taetske,

I'm so pleased to receive your message. I have missed you and considered sending a PM.

No doubt, you would be aware that after 102 days free of covid New Zealand was again infected. Masks are compulsory now but fortunately, I'm not affected by that as I don't go among crowds or even shopping. My daughter does my shopping and will continue until NZ returns to Level 1.

I hear complaints from friends about the discomfort of wearing masks.

Autumn is my favourite season. Now that Spain is moving into Autumn I do hope you enjoy the change of season.

Take care, Taetske.

Valerie

Good afternoon, Valerie,

Happy to hear you are ok and healthy.
I am kind of in the background, only reading 1 or 2 WA posts a day.
I am still updating old posts from both my websites, slowly but surely I am getting there.
Soon I will have some nice news and will write a WA post, long overdue that is.

All the best, Taetske

Glad you are doing well, and thanks for letting me know that Monday will be a good day. Since I haven't gotten there yet, will rely on your assessment.

Monday will be a great day for you, Fran. I feel sure of that.
If not, send me a message and I'll try for Tuesday!!

Good for you accepting his challenge. Nice to see you again.

~Debbi

Hi Debbi,

Thanks so much for your message. It's nice to see you again, too.
It was quite a marathon completing that challenge. But, I'm grateful for it as it was an encouragement to get back to my neglected website!

I better get going on my article for Jay too...

I do enjoy imagining you over yonder in that other part of our planet.

Thanks very much, Rosana for your message. It is lovely to receive it.

Yes, I too, wonder about WA members in other countries throughout the world. It's great how we can be brought together in a fashion, through the invention of the internet.

It took me much longer than I had expected to complete my post for Jay.

I hope you've been able to complete yours in the time allowed.
