what a url when adding link please
A URL is the name of any website you type into the field bar at the top of a browser. Once you are in a website and have gone to another page, it will add an extension, so it might look like this:
http://successsystemsinstitute.com/about-rorio
(That's my ABOUT page.)
While working in Wordpress, you can be on a page writing your content or adding photos, and suggest visitors go to another page, perhaps your blog page, for more information on a topic. You can highlight the words in your content, such as "blog page" and click the little icon link (looks like a chain link) that lives above where you type your content onto a page in Wordpress. It will bring up a box near the words you want to link.
Go online to your real published website, click through to the blog page, and copy the blog page URL that shows up in the browser bar at the top. Then go back to your Wordpress page and paste that URL into the little link field waiting back in your text content. Apply, and now it will be highlighted in blue, ready for your visitors to click through to the other page you want to direct them to.
Val, I've learned to google terms I don't know. There is so much jargon in this industry, and every rule for explaining jargon is broken. So whenever I don't know what someone is talking about in tech-speak, I google it.
I hope the explanation about how to link URLs within content is helpful. Good luck to you. I think WA is the best out there and we will have great success!

thanks so much it has made it much clearer i will go check out your about page .and i agree wa is brillant

That's a great start Val. Although personally I find the yellow a little bright.
