The struggle to find motivation.

Hello all.

I've hit a serious wall with my motivation. I can't think of anything to write about and if I do I don't know where to begin or I dont think it's good enough. I'm struggling to output content and I think it's because my motivation is really low.

Last week I had some really good hits on my site, but no sales.

This week I had hardly any visits and it's killed my will to think this will actually work at all.

Any tips?

Regards,

Matt

Alphabet soup in Jaaxy is a great tool, just create a list of ideas then mindmap them or find a way that suits your learning style. I also carry a note pad when I am out and when an idea comes to me randomly I write it down then research it. The other thing I find useful is google alerts for my key niche words. Its full of ideas...

Its perfectly natural to feel stuck, remember the harder we try the harder it is.. take the presuure off...good luck..Phil

Maybe you should give it a break and start another website for a new niche.

It's hard sometimes, Michael! Just put pen to paper and write whatever comes to mind--it doesn't have to make sense, but soon, you'll be surprised! Enjoy your weekend, and hang in there!

Hi - as the others have said, do some research in Google and take a look at similar sites to get some ideas.

I see your site is only about 6 weeks old, so it is far too early to expect much traffic and any sales. Dont expect anything much to happen for the first 3 months or until you have about 25 articles.

Just concentrate on writing as it is your articles that will attract visitors.

Matt; we all hit the wall. So you are not alone.
But do not listen to that stinky talk about not being good enough. We all have something to share. Your articles will impact people.
Maybe it's time to do some research in your niche and find what is trending, what others are saying and jot down some ideas.
Although there are some people here that seem to be able to write an article everyday, I'm not one of them. I have to do research for my niches.
Go at your own pace. Hang in there.
To your success!
Barbara
