FOCUS FOR SUCCESS

In order to be successful with Wealthy Affiliate, one needs to FOCUS! Let's FOCUS on what that means.

FOLLOW your Certification Courses without skipping steps. It is easy to get distracted and begin new things without having clicked all your tasks. In my first week, I was making excellent progress and began using Live Chat. There was so much active participation...lots happening at once...more than one conversation too...I was fascinated and I was asking questions but since I hadn't progressed to those steps, someone advised me to FOLLOW the steps and things would happen. I was patient and returned to my Lessons.

ONE COURSE at a time...don't jump into more than one idea as you will just become confused. Complete ONE COURSE, check it off and continue with the training UNTIL SUCCESSFUL!

Whether you are selling a product or service, you need customers! There are billions of marketing dollars to be made...you just need an audience! Just remember, we all have websites to do one thing...SELL!

I still struggle with writing content. Do I have enough to make it interesting? Will my readers be bored? I think I will make it short and sweet...POOF...customers go elsewhere and probably won't be back! There is no magic formula! Interested guests will stay and engage...and probably end up purchasing product. So don't worry about the length of your Posts. You will attract the right audience.

Each one of our audiences likes to be spoken to as if he/she is a friend. I like to visit sites that aren't intentionally trying to sell me something. I like to view websites that look interesting and may even make me laugh. Something to consider...

Take advantage of inserting Affiliate Links. They don't "push" products but rather suggest something we hadn't even thought about. Earning the extra money isn't half bad either.

Please test all your links...nothing is more frustrating than when you expect to be going to a certain page and nothing happens! Sales happen when links actually work!

When I first started, I thought it would be a great achievement to move up within WA Ranking...but it really is not worth concentrating on...just stay FOCUSED and help each other whenever you can and your Rank will improve! I am currently in the Fourth Section, Lesson 8 (with a Rank of 89) and would have been further; however, I really enjoy helping everyone who needs it...WA is very addicting...In fact, Is there a 12 Step Course?

It's almost been one month and I have gained a lot of knowledge and made a lot of friends. Friends I can count on 24 hours day a day, 7 days a week. Believe me, online marketing is scary by itself, so I wouldn't be in this great Wealthy Affiliate Community if it weren't for all the support...I would have left by the second day. My best wishes...
