You can be successful BUT
Your habits define you...
I consider myself a plodder. Not in running though, LOL ! But when it comes to goals I take the long path.
The reason?
I make sure that I will get there and stay there. If you really want to make sure that you have enough money to do the things you want to do in life you need to establish successful habits.
- Learn how to handle/budget money
- Set one success goal each day (something you will and can do)
- Tick off your successes as you do them
Each time you achieve some success it reboots your brain into a different way of thinking. Action always speaks louder than words.
Japanese business people almost always plan 5 years ahead.
Map your path. It's easier to have material goals than money goals. Money is only an idea but buying the house of your dreams is tangible (of course you need the money to do this) you can picture a house and get emotional about it.
Pictures of money, meh! Flying first class to some exotic location, yep! Driving a Rolls Royce, sure. It's about access to your dreams.
If all you think about are your bills, then learn to budget so you don't have to. Live within your means until your means gets bigger.
Get excited, be on fire and don't doubt yourself. Learn, learn and learn everything you need to be successful. Talk/text to people who inspire you not to people who give you a hard time.
ABOVE ALL DON'T DOUBT YOUSELF! Success is about working through your doubts. Doubts bring everything to a screeching halt
Believe in yourself and work every day towards your goals. Don't try to run before you can walk (I know these are all cliches you have heard before).
Excitement is only temporary but results are permanent.
