South Dakota - Hope to get Back here too
Well, I hope to get Back here to South Dakota. This was part of a long road trip we took in 2015. Pretty much the breaking point on the lower half of my body numbness. I received another steroid nerve block shot a week before the trip. It wore off half way thru. It is Great that my wife likes to drive, cause we would not have made it without her driving. Anyway I am staying positive and hope to get Back here soon...
The oldest hand-hewn log commercial building in South Dakota.
On the National Register of Historic Places
Below is the sign posted on the restaurant. The restaurant photo is below too.
The log walls were in great shape, and "boy was this a clean restaurant"
The sign says that Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickock may have been in this city causing a little havoc.
The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
Let me know if you have been here before...
Or let me know about other cool restaurants like this one.

I have had two back surgeries. I still have some pain, but not nearly as bad. In my case, getting old sucks. Best of luck to you.
I know how you feel. They have looked at my back several times with a MRI and nothing is wrong with it. That is why I am so confused with my pain. Nothing shows up, but I cant move?
We will figure it out someday. I already realize I have to live with the pain.

Desperados. What a cool name. Glad you and your family enjoyed it. Sorry for the pain you have to go through. Many of us in my group are in the same situation. I'm not nearly as bad as most of them. I just ignore it all and carry on. Take care and good luck with WA.
Thanks, I try to ignore the pain with my new website and blog. It keeps my mind off of it, until I get up.

Hey Rob, sounds like you are in good spirits.
Looks like your niche is going to be US historical buildings.
All the best.

Good idea Keith, I would have to back to my picture albums of actual film for those. Its been awhile since I have been to DC. But my kids get to go at the 8th grade trip and I get to go this time.

Hi Rob.. Interesting history for a "modern" building... ;-) Our little village has what I believe is the 3rd oldest Inn in England... Built in 1106, and a notorious history of highway men and even haunted apparently!! It was a stopping off point for exchanging horses between London and Bath on the Great Western Road as it was known then. There website if your curious is www.theostrichcolnbrook.co.uk
Enjoy.... Martyn
Hey Martyn, I just ate lunch and now I am hungry again. Wow that food looks delicious. Thanks for looking at my blog and for sharing one of your places.
