Ford Field Detroit - Hope to get Back here
Well, I hope to get Back here to Ford Field, Detroit Michigan.
Yes, I am a Lions fan. Yes I know you are rolling your eyes... I am a season ticket holder, stop with the eye rolling, I get it.
But me and my back can take it. (Maybe that's where the pain is coming from). I missed the last half of the season last year because I could not drive down there due to the pain meds I was on. I know, I did not miss much.
But...
The 2016 season is not going to be like the past seasons for the Lions, the NFL draft is coming up, and we have a new staff making picks for us.
Did you know
The Detroit Lions are the only NFL team to go 0-16. They lost every game that year

2016 Win Division and compete in playoffs!
- Ford Field is a multi-purpose indoor stadium located in Downtown Detroit
- Capacity 65,000
Well, I really hope to get back here to a game. Mostly go to meet up with friends and keep an eye on the score to see how the Lions are doing.
But I am not here to bash the Lions today. Its the Detroit Red Wings that need some help too. They, unlike the Lions, make the playoffs every year, (or for the last 25 years they have) but we get more upset with the Wings losing in the first round than we do with the Lions losing every game that counts.
Welcome to Detroit Sports!

Yes I am a true wolverine! (But I went to CMU for my education).
My kids think I am crazy because up until last season they were terrible. So here I am, a Lions fan and Wolverine fan and they ask" Dad why do you root for losing teams?" I said the Lions do stink but U of M has the most winning-est record in NCAA Football. And after last season, they get it. We do not root for the team that plays football in Wisconsin or the green and white team in Michigan. We say that phrase before each meal.
Rob
Hi Rob, I am a Lions.Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings fan from when I was a kid growing up in Grand Rapids. What was so interesting about 2oo8 is that the Lions were undefeated in the preseason.
I now live in Ky. and that year my son "Rob" and some others and I went to a preseason game down here in Cincinnati in 2008.
I went to church with the Aunt and uncle to Dylan, The Redwings sensational rookie . They have been telling us about him since he was in high school. He looks to be the next Gordie Howe, and from Mi too.
My son Rob played high school to college JV basketball and now is the director of a WMCA. He is an avid Pistons fan and glad they made the playoffs.
Marty
Awesome Marty,
I have seen some cool T-shirts at the Lions games that do say "undefeated in the pre-season" Always makes me laugh.
Thanks for the comments.
Rob
My son Rob graduated fro the University of Kentucky and would wear Uof M shirts on campus. He has never been on the UofM campus.
I like Ky. and MSU as well as Uof M.
Harbough has really changed things for the better.
Marty
I agree, Harbough is really going to turn things around. Kind of goofy but whatever works.
Do you remember when he and Jim Schwartz got into that little scrap at the Lions vs 49ers game in Detroit?
That was funny

Go Blue!
Yes, I saw that live. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction lol.
Harbaugh's Dad was Western Ky. coach so the whole family has a Ky. connection too.
