Product Reviews

Obviously, when you write a product review, you either want the person that is reading it to buy that product, or a different one that you recommend. So, how do you get them to read your review?

Traffic

Yes, if you follow the training found here at Wealthy Affiliate, you will learn quite quickly different ways to attain free traffic, and chances are you have traffic coming to your site already by this point.

But, what helps you make more money with the traffic you DO get?

By writing what people are actually looking for.

Write What They Want

First off, do your homework. Find the best of the best of whatever it is that you want to review. Don't just pick a company because they give a high commission. You want to stand behind your words. You want to be genuine.

If you are authentic and you believe what you say, your words will flow like you mean it.

Once you find the best possible version of the product (or company), figure out what makes them the best. Find at least 3 things that give that product (or company) a leg up on everything else that's available. Then dig deeper.

Keyword

Head over to Jaaxy, and search the model number or company name. Find a good keyword according to the recommendations in the training.

"Product XYZ Model ABC Review"

Be specific.

One Product or Multiple?

When you write a product review for multiple options, the person that is reading your article isn't at the stage where they are going to take out their credit card. They are wondering which product is worth looking into further.

What does this mean for you?

You are talking them into one product, but they will go to someone with an in-depth, single product review to make sure, and they will use their link.

So, do separate reviews for each product in your multi product review, and link to each of them in the main article. Keep your reader on YOUR site.

Anything Else?

Of course, there is. There isn't enough space on this entire site for you to learn literally everything about human psychology. But, include powerful words like "honest", "true" and "real". They may seem like you're begging them to read your article, but people will immediately associate the words in your title with everything you type after the title.

Set them up to trust you from the first line.

Then, if there is a minor negative that takes it from a 5 star product to a 4.8, tell them about it, and give them a way around it. Fix that problem for them before they assume it makes the product not worth it.

Add those few tips to your product reviews, and watch the traffic, and session times climb.

Hi Tyler,

Nice post, I'm interesting on doing book reviews on my site as well.

If you enjoy reading and learning, that is a perfect niche. People always want to know if a book is worth buying before getting halfway through.

Most people who are looking for ways to make money are already searching for books online. I thought maybe I can help a few of them.

Lots of great advice - thanks

Lot's of terrific insight here, Tyler.
Thank you for sharing.

Paul.
