Scanning Through My Reports...

So, I have a bit of a ritual when I sit at my desk. Check my WA for any notifications, check Amazon for new clicks and possible sales, check my other affiliate programs.

I went through my WA stuff and was just finishing my first coffee when I opened Amazon and took a look at my reports. A pretty sad $0 on all the countries that I have an Associates account for.

Instead of worrying over that, I decided to go in and look at the actual clicks for each. Again, ritually, I check Canada, the US, the UK, etc. I always check in the same order because of the way they are listed, except for the US which is at the bottom.

I always check the US after Canada (I'm Canadian).

Canada showed no new sales and 31 clicks for the last month.

I head over to the US Associates account and BAM!

Two new ordered items that hadn't registered for amounts yet!

Following the trend of previous sales, I got excited over my new $1.64 that I was expecting.

I scrolled down to see what it was they purchased. Most of my sales come from a home theater review site that I don't even pay attention to anymore.

I have a second site that takes all of my spare time and I've been neglecting my first site even though it has gotten 728 Google clicks as of today.

The truth is that I feel almost as though I'm lying doing reviews for home theater equipment I've never used, and it has made me not want to continue. I've been contemplating finding someone to buy it.

So, I scroll down and sure enough, the sales are from my home theater site.

A 15' subwoofer signal wire for $10.99....and a Klipsch R-120SW subwoofer for $348.95!

I did a lot of research for that review and went into extreme scientific detail, but I still wish I could use the products myself.

Does anyone else feel that way?

Anyway, I just though I'd share my BIG win today, and I hope it motivates someone on here to keep going. It's worth it!
