Had to change my WA theme in order to have my Menus display across my static Home Page So when I changed Themes, now my Posts are missing or are they? Do I need to reenter all
Do existing posts automatically transfer to a new wp theme?

Don't see any drop-down menu to change Profile photo, just option to modify bio
Just Add a pic and it will replace the old one though the old one stays as part of your profile.

Step 4 in above instructions says to click on "Delete" link in lower right side. My selected theme has no such option to "Delete" Theme, how to delete?
The basic WordPress themes are the annual tagged ones 2017 being the latest. Themes fall under the CSS Cascading Style Sheet construct which is the backbone of your website. Taking one out is like taking the transmission out of your car. Without a replacement it won't go!
When you click on a theme to select it, you'll find the "Delete" link in the lower right corner of the theme's display page.

I forgot to mention -- You cannot delete the theme that's currently active for your site. You'd first need to activate a different theme and then delete the old one.
Thank you so much, I will try again. One other ques, when I went into my Site panel, it shows two other themes. Did I inadvertently add those when trying to delete the active one?
If I'm not mistaken, there are three, possibly four, themes that are automatically preloaded with any fresh wordpress installation. Those are probably the ones you're seeing.
Thanks again, was able to "delete" those extras that displayed when I went into Site Manager and was able to delete the active theme to another etc. I was looking for the complicated,and the answer was thankfully, more simple, lolz (I take it that anything that was customized/writeups also got deleted along with the theme template.)
Any customizations that you made to the theme's files are gone when you delete the theme. Those changes would also get overwritten whenever the theme gets updates.
If by "writeups" you'referring to website content (pages and posts), no, those don't get deleted. A theme controls how your content is displayed. Deleting a theme or switching themes does not remove content from your site.
Go to appearance -> themes
Select the theme you want to delete and the delete option is bottom right hand corner
