Jumping Jack Flash, It's A Gas Gas Gas.
Even if you're not a Rolling Stones fan, it's hard not to feel the 'buzz' when you hear the words 'Jumping jack flash, it's a gas gas gas'. It makes me want to strut round the lounge with one finger wagging in the air. I used to do a mean Mick Jagger when I was about ten.
Talking of impressions, I know what my first YouTube video is going to be. After due
consideration I have decided that I shall be doing the Stanley Holloway monologue, 'Albert and the Lion' It could be the start of something quite beautiful, I feel.
So, you can probably tell, I am 'up for it' today. That reminds me, today is day nine of lock down for us. Every day is like a small victory and it brings us ever closer to the time when we can get back to normal, whatever that may be.
Just on a quick serious note. I have heard mentions of some starting to push the boundaries, so to speak. Now is not the time to be complacent. It is imperative that we all stick to the plan and follow the guidelines.
'Are you not entertained ?' Which movie is that from then ? I'll give you a clue, it's in my top three. Oh, doesn't that help ? OK then, how about, if I told you that Lisa Gerrard sang the soundtrack. Better ? Practically giving it away.
Could have been a DJ, I reckon. Twack FM, perfect face for radio. We'll see how the monologue goes first, I think. Note to self, must remember to ask about microphones.
I had a pleasant surprise, though you may think I'm sad for finding this something that makes me happy.
I have been toying with the idea of slacking off when it comes to leaving comments on 'Site Comments'. You can blame Clockify for that. I set the timer one day, just to see how long it was taking me. I left four comments and it took just under an hour. That's well below minimum wage. That said, I didn't waste time, it was just how long it took me to read the four articles and leave a decent comment. The two go hand in hand, you can't leave a comment if you haven't read the article, now can you ?
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I went into the comments section and noticed that my status had disappeared. I was on 38, sad, it made me. So, for the next few days I made a conscious effort and managed to scrape back to 50. Deep joy. Since then, I have been trying to leave a couple, or three, comments a day, just to provide a cushion. Whoopee. The 'rolling' thirty day threshold, has caught me out on many occasions.
Then, for two days on the trot, I haven't managed to get on there (More on that another day) and subsequently, I was fearing the worst, that I would have dropped out, again. It set me thinking, that maybe it was time to call it a day and that my time could be better spent elsewhere.
The problem is, I enjoy it. I find it both challenging and enlightening. My horizons are now broader than my shoulders. There is so much to learn from other members. Not just the subject matter, also the writing styles and website design. The credits and occasional cash credits is a bonus.
Last night, in a moment virtual bravery, I went there. I was expecting to be in the high 40s, so I was surprised to see that I was on 53. Faith had been restored, vigor renewed.
I shall endeavour to add that to a couple of other I sometimes fall behind on and make it part of my morning routine. You can see why I was excited and yes, it is a little sad on my part. We have to take the 'win' when we can. Sometimes they can be in short supply.
I wanted to tell you about a few other things but, yet again, time has run away from me, as has the word count. I shall end here and add some notes for another post. We have a four-legged house guest arriving in the next hour, so I had best make like a tree and leaf. Hey, it wasn't that bad, not as good as the 'shepherd' one but that's just not appropriate here. We have standards, after all.
I hope you all are safe and well.

It is indeed, Twack! We can never be complacent,.my friend! I sincerely hope that you are doing well!
Jeff
Yes, I am entertained Mr Gladiator!
Congratulations on keeping your comments up there. I’ve not been able to achieve that, always seem to run out of sites to review before I make the quota.
I’ll look for the YouTube monologue, sounds like a winner!
Stay safe and healthy my friend,
KyleAnn
How impressive are you KyleAnn, maximum points. I know Russell Crowe isn't everyone's cup of tea but I just loved the film. It's a weepy more than anything, especially the music.
Even now I still get caught out. One thing I have found is that if you keep the email notification and use that to access the section, it can offer sites that might not be on your preferred list.
I need to ask the all knowledgeable community about the best microphone.
Should be fun anyway.
Hope you're doing the same and keeping well. No bugs here, it's the law.
I just had to check that. There's nothing uploaded yet, so I'm not sure you'll find me. When I have, I'll put the link on my 'follow me on' section. I'm not sure I appear if you type in Twack Romero.
It's on 'that' list (the one I keep ignoring). Definitely before this lock-down malarky has finished.
