Google Adsense Paid Me . Bazinga !

Forgive me for using the characters from 'The Big Bang Theory' but the word bazinga was the one I wanted to use and it seemed only fitting to have Sheldon say it.
Technically, they haven't paid me yet but I know they're good for it. I promise that this windfall will not change me. The money will nice but fear not, it won't distract me from my efforts to continue on my chosen path.
It's actually showing as £2.11 on the 'Console' dashboard. The discrepancy in the amounts is trifling and we're not talking life changing amounts, what matters is that finally I know it works. While I'm here, bending your ear, I may as well mention the first email I had. I was going to write a post about it but that's now redundant, as I think they are inextricably linked. Below is a section of the email I had a couple of days ago.
"Google systems confirm that on Jan 12, 2020 we started collecting Google Search impressions for your website in Search Console. This means that pages from your website are now appearing in Google search results for some queries. Here’s how you can monitor your site’s Search performance using Search Console."
At first glance I had no idea what this meant. So I read it again and it still didn't make any sense. After the third time I just moved on but left it in my inbox. My intention to post some of the email on here and see if those much more knowledgeable than I, could shed some light on it. They may still.
Now, with hindsight, I'm guessing that this is just confirmation that people have searched for 'something' and that my site has appeared in those searches. That sound about right ? That's a good thing then. Sweet. The figures below may never come round again, so they are worth saving for posterity, also I know that such growth is a reflection on previous times.
I know many blows hot and cold when it comes to Adsense and it's not for everyone. For me, it actually compliments the site quite well and doesn't seem overly intrusive.
Still, a win's a win and every success we have is worth celebrating, no matter how small. Thank you for indulging me on this one. Like Google says, I'm on a roll and when you start rolling, momentum starts to rumble in.

In the past they had carte blanche and invaded my websites, it looked awful.
I have restricted them to 2 in the sidebar and 1 in the footer, now my websites look serious again.

Google will pay. When I set up my Adsense several years ago I had overlooked connecting Google to my bank account. Money accumulated that I didn't know about.
When I found out my oversight I corrected it, And BAZINGA, they transferred $2005 into my account within two days.
You will get paid at the minimum threshold you set up with them. That is usually $100. And make the connection so they can pay you.
