Make money fast online?
Has anyone accomplished this goal? I think this title can draw people in, but with unrealistic expectations. How can you make money fast? What niche will instantly generate income?
It seems that a lot of effort and patience is the name of the game. I have steadily worked on my site, produced blogs and reviews, and I'm increasing my time here on WA, but I still don't anticipate making money anytime soon. I'm trying to have realistic goals, which can help minimize frustration, discouragement, and the desire to give up.
I joined WA with a "make money now" mentality. However, I quickly realized that it isn't that simple. I wonder if everyone else is starting to adjust their goals and expectations to something more practical. If so, we will find satisfaction much sooner, in the form of pride in your work, commitment, and helping others. Money should come eventually, but this is now a secondary goal for me. How about you?

I'm sure a lot of us are wondering when our sites are going to start generating income. I'm also sure that there are literally thousands of members here who have been doing so for quite some time.
But as you say, patience is key.
I believe we'll eventually make money but I think the priority for now is to build a strong foundation. I hope someone in this forum has already made money online.
Well, sure I hope that I earn through my sites, but more importantly, I am learning and sharing some information that I think is important and fun.
I've been on WA for 2 weeks now. I knew I wasn't going to rake in money by simply joining WA - it is for to build up my network and attract visitors to my website.
Very true,
For me it also started as a way to make money, and preferably soon. I'm only two weeks into my endeavor at WA, following the affiliat bootcamp and learning from others here at wealthy affiliate. It's all about having a good time, being proud of your progress and helping others now, much more than making money.
I'm so pleased you now view it in that way. Of course money is important but it is secondary to helping others :)

Kyle makes it pretty clear that WA is not to get rich quick but to build a business. Slow and steady, mostly steady, wins the race. Keep on keepin on!
