Hi, does anyone know how to migrate pre-existing email accounts associated with a pre-existing domain to WA please? Thanks!

I know you've been receiving a lot of advice/support on this topic, but in case nobody has mentioned it yet, you might look to the SiteSupport team for help! https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Are the pre-existing domains now hosted at WA?

If the pre-existing domain was hosted with cPanel - I don't think the associated emails can be transferred here.

You can use a POP3 connection to archive your emails. That way, the emails can be stored on your computer, though you may not be able to upload the emails to WA.

I would put in a WA hosting support ticket and ask what can be done.

~Jude

Thanks Jude. I already did and taking all the responses I've gotten thus far together, I've come to the conclusion that it is best I host those domains and associated emails outside of WA. Shame as I had spent weeks building one of the sites on WA and was scheduled to launch it Monday 18th. Perhaps Kyle and team would look into working around this in the future.

I know that if you transfer the website hosting to WA, you can create an email address with the same email address as it was at the other hosting service, but I'm not so sure about getting the actual emails uploaded here for storage.

When I transferred my sites here, I simply archived all emails from my other hosting account and saved them on my computer and a USB.

Then I gave my domain here the same email address as I always had. So people who sent me emails before could continue to use the same email address they always used and it made no difference to them.

It seems a shame to pay for hosting accounts elsewhere when it is included in the Premium membership here for 25 owned domain sites.

You might want to send Carson or Kyle a private message about it, as I know they are always open to suggestions for improvement. ~Jude

Very many thanks for all your support/advice. Much appreciated...

Cheers!

you could look at forwarding?

Thanks, but how would that work?

log in to your old provider and set the forwarding there.. point it towards your WA email..

Alternatively you could name your WA email the same is your old email so that new emails sent would go there instead.

Thanks. I tried to do your latter suggestion earlier but kept getting an error message, and this is with the nameservers of the domain already changed to the WA ones. If I tried your former suggestion of stting the forwarding at go daddy, to what email would I be forwarding to and would replies bear the same address as incoming emails were received in?
