When leaving a comment on each others sites for help
When I leave a comment
When I leave a comment on a website that someone has asked me to review I read the article as though it was the first time. I then think about what I am going to write and ask myself is this going to help this person when someone else read what I have written.
What help?
In my opinion what a reader wants to see if they make it down to the comments is something that is going to help them make the decision if what they have read is...
- A scam
- A real product
- Something to validate what has been written (testimonies would be okay sometimes)
- A reason to purchase
With that being said writing in thinking that this is what the reader would be looking for I try and leave a comment that would pertain to someone asking these questions.
What I have seen from many WA affiliates
I personally have two websites, one a family blog (bunchofblessings.com) and two a WA referral site (buildingwebsitesforprofit.com). These are two totally different niches as you can imagine.
When it comes to comments on the family blog site that my Wife and I read we typically will see comments that ask questions, confirm the view points of the author and testimonials of the product that was written.
When it comes to WA referral sites this is much tougher I think. Mainly because we are all mostly in the same boat and it becomes harder and harder to be Authentic. I find my self trying to write the same thing over and over, but I have a hard time believing that either the reader or Google wont see right through that.
We don't need to lie
We all read so many articles about WA and some of us several a day. I try to review 3-5 a day and leave comments on the site to help with rankings. Then I leave a comment on WA in reply to the Affiliates request to be reviewed.
I am certainly not saying we need to lie to the reader of the comments when we leave our own comment but I think we can be strategic in helping each other in what we say. i will leave that up to you to figure out, but a nice quick or detailed if you want comment can only help all of us in the long run.
Leave the comments about the website layout and content for WA
I have also seen several Affiliates leave comments on sites talking about color's, layouts, spelling etc on the websites.
This should only be done within WA I think because it will lead to a reader thinking that there is something up. Even though there kind of is something up we are only helping each other not trying to deceive anyone.
Feel free to give any of your own thoughts or opinions with this topic. Thank you for reading.

Critique a website at WA. Critique a blog post in the blog comments. My comments on a blog post may be positive or negative depending on whether I agree or disagree, but I always try to be constructive. It is all about being honest and helpful. Constructive criticism can help to validate a website because it shows we are open and trying to get at the truth.
Yes Bill,, I agree. I was just talking about people leaving comment that are glaring obvious that we are a group of people working together. Another words talking about Wordpress layouts, color etc. when it has nothing to do with the topic of the website or post. Negative comments within the topic should always be welcome.
I think you made an excellent point and an important one.Keep WA business in WA and stay on topic when commenting on a website.
