I so agree with Cristo. I used to be in a business where networking was key, and I was very blessed to have the gift of gab, therefore I was successful in business. In any business there is jealousy, or people right behind you ready to stick in the blade so to speak. After a few decades, I learned people can be very mean, and after the many people who do not like to see you at the top, I quickly learned that those people were purely acquaintances if that, and that they most important and influential people you should keep fate with are the "5" people.. This is so true, and the last thing to remember, keep your goals to yourself, as people always have an opinion, and generally it is not a positive one, so stay away from the negative nannies!!! lol.

One thing to always keep in mind is that your goals are yours. They sure aren't the same as other people's expectations of you.

The 5 people you spend most time with are the ones that influence you the most. If there is negativity in any of these 5, if possible, lose them. That's my take on things now. If you can't lose them, at least don't let them into your private space.

That's great advice. I never share my goals with anyone. They'll just tell me "dream on" and give words of discouragement.
