Now that the html code is placed where you want it, go back to visual mode.

When your editor shifts to visual mode, you should see a gray box where the video has been placed, like this:

Now, I am working with a test draft post, so there is no content to speak of. But I want to know if the video is going to be sized properly with the layout of my published and viewed page and, in most cases, for me, that means it is the full width of the text content paragraph. So for testing and comparison sake, I will key in enough text to more than complete a full width paragraph in visual mode, as such:

If you are placing a video in a post that is already filled out with content, you can of course skip that small step, but in either case, now you want to know how it will actually look on the viewed page, so at this point, click on "Save Draft"

Then click on "Preview Post"

Now you will see if the video looks well balanced on your viewed page. If so, great, you are ready to publish, if not, you can resize as needed. Both of these cases will be covered on the following and last page.

Excellent training for me because I am about to add a blog and wanted to add a youtube video. I am new to this but understand your instructions thoroughly. I have only one question, are we authorized to use any youtube video?

Thanks, Sheden, and yes you can use any video that is posted on YouTube in "Public" view status. The video automatically gives credits to the author/owner/producer, so there is no need to list credits, and in fact the author will most likely be glad to see his/her video being posted around on other sites, because that is all the more exposure, And when someone watches the video on your site, it still gives credit to the number of "views" the video has had on YouTube. So it is really a win-win.

Videos posted to Youtube for "Private" viewers, you will not be able to see listed anyway, unless you belong to the group who the video is privately intended. So if you can see it, you can use it.

Thanks for the answer but especially for the complete explanations of it. I like to know why I need to do what I need to do and you gave it. I have to pick and choose which blogs to read and yours will definitely be one of them.

Yes I am, been scammed for so many years and feel that "FINALLY" I have found the one that will help me to really succeed. Then with people like you helping, I can't go wrong. I do have my site up http://www.realfreehomebusiness.com. If you get time, would you check it out? I just started on it 23 December 2014. I am still in Bootcamp and know I have work to do but would appreciate your evaluation. Thank you.
