Let's use our journey here at WA as an example. I have been here a long time and I have not progresses as fast as I had hoped.
In looking at why, I realized I have been skipping around. I was impatient and simply search for what I thought I need to know.
WA training is presented systematically. Take it a step at a time and you will move forward faster.
If I consider creating a passive income that will support my family and allow me the discretionary income I need to do everything I want to accomplish in my life then I have to concentrate on my WA training. I have let everything in my life interfere with my study of the WA classes.
I have to set aside time everyday to take a class and implement what I learn. I must make a study appointment with my self and not let anything interfere or distract me. Don't let the thought that you have to block out a lot of time to get anything done keep you from accomplishing your goals. Studies have shown that the person who works on their most important project a little bit every day will get more done than the binge worker.
We are not talking about the big project you have a deadline to complete. Your job depends on getting the work done. I'm talking about the most important things in your life that get pushed aside by the big projects and the busy work others impose on you.
Know what is important in your life. Know what you want to accomplish and set aside the time everyday, even if it is only a half an hour to accomplish what is important to you
I didn't initially catch the importance of this but realize the brilliance of keeping it simple. I know of others that are a whole lot better...

Yet another method I like that I started implementing effectively just over the last week is the one goal a day method: http://www.onesimplegoal.com/tips
Using this method, I finally got myself to do one thing I've been putting off for ages, i.e., meditate (using YouTube guided meditation video). And yesterday, I finally got myself to figure out how to use a drill.
One thing that doesn't work for me is trying to stick to a schedule. Though a schedule might work for some people, I seem to be resistant to any fairly rigid structure.
Setting daily goals are so very important. That way a dream can become a reality.
