7. On Page Optimization
The page optimization ensures that your site content improves your site’s findability (search, rank & index). This can be done by the addition of power words (words that are used to trigger a psychological or emotional response), keywords, metadata utilization (an underlying definition or description), and title tagging (use of Hyper Text Mark-up Language HTML used to identify a page).
8. Coding
There is not a need to be an expert coder, but it does help if you have some knowledge of what coding does and what it looks like. If you look at the source coding, you may identify some of the key features such as backlink “do” or “no follow”, which indicates whether backlinking is applicable to your site, and if not then you can have the skills to change it either way by simple code changes.
9. Link Generation Building
Links to your site help with your sites authority. If a link from another website is found then Google sees this and it helps in the search parameters when a search takes place.
10. Content and Audit
“Content is King”, is a saying that is still applicable today and marks the importance of a sites credibility. We want and need to build content, and its creation is a key persuader in whether you are an authority on the subject and your content is worthy of reading. The content should always be people centred and when done correctly will lead to someone recommending your site, which leads to backlink referencing. The strength and weakness of your content is a skill that you will discover over time, leading to what to include and what not to include.
Have a lovely weekend!
