9) If you haven't already, now is a great time to become an affiliate for Amazon, or whatever affiliate programs you wish and add links to your site.

You could have done this earlier, and if you did that is fine. But waiting a bit gives you a better website for applying to affiliate programs and also Amazon has a window of time that you need to make a sale in. So to avoid having to reapply later for lack of sales, now that you are climbing the ranks is a good time to become an affiliate.

Jay even says in one video that he doesn't add affiliate links until the site is on at least page 2 of the search ranks.

10) Get comments on your website. You want comments for two reasons. One is that it helps with Google rankings. The other is that when new people visit your site it doesn't look like a ghost town.

Luckily there is an easy system within WA for this if you click SiteRubix then SiteComments. This link should work too: SiteComments system

You can either trade two comments for one, or you can buy credits in your profile options and use two credits for one comment.

Each comment you get, you should reply to. It looks better and encourages others to comment when visiting your site.

If you follow these steps then continue creating quality content, your site will rank as fast as is possible with a new website.

If you miss or skip any steps the process will take much longer.
