How to Add Navigation Menu to your WordPress Website

The WordPress environment is beautiful. You can always use it to add some functionalities to your website. For your menu interface, you can create menus with drop-down and even make them headers.

The navigation menu is used to make movement easy within your website. They are also good tools when it comes to pointing to important areas within your website. Below is an example of a header menu.

One of the major determining factors to the position of your menu is your theme. But good enough, most themes come with various options for these positions. On a more general note is the primary menu, this is found majorly in the header position for most themes. Another common position for the menu is the footer and mobile navigation.

Great training. Just wondering, what are the benefits of pages?

Pages contrary to posts, are static and contain more general information such as About you, privacy policy etc. Posts will be alive, can change, have comments, will be updated and are all relevant to your niche only.

Thanks for the great reply Georg. If I understood you correctly pages can be for broad overview of a subject whereas posts are subjects specific?

This training is good to review what we learned in the beginning. Yesterday, I wrote a post from site content, but I was unable to publish it from there. So I logged in website first, then, write from the back office as you direct here. Then, I was able to publish it.

Yes, a review and a reminder is good. They help us remember what we learnt in time past.
I am glad you found it useful
