One of the things we learn as we go through the Wealthy Affiliate process is how to help each other get started in a social aspect. From giving each other feedback on how our sites look, sharing comments on them, to socially sharing them. Today I am going to break it down a little more so that we can, as a community, do this in a more effective manner.

Providing Feedback

When someone is asking for feedback on their site, they are looking for confirmation that they are doing things right. When you check out their sites you will want to browse through several pages minimum to make sure you have a good feel for what they are trying to accomplish. Then to give them feedback, come back to the original thread at WA and provide your thoughts here.

Commenting on Sites

When people are looking for help with comments on their site, they are looking for you to review the post or page in question and leave a comment directly on their site.

Socially Sharing

When you come across content that you find informative and engaging, naturally you will want to share it via social media. Most sites here will have the little share buttons right on them to make it easy for you to share on your favorite outlets.

Now lets take a deeper look at each one of these...

Hey guys I just transferred my site to my own domain and have been working hard on it. I would really appreciate any comments, or shares on social media. Please let me know the name of your site and I would be more then happy to do the same for you!

Josh,

Looks like you are off to a great start here. Read through a couple articles and everything seemed on par.

One thing I would recommend if you have access to Microsoft word is to copy your content into that before publishing and using that to help check for grammar issues. Sometimes you might misspell a word, but spell another one correctly and WordPress won't let you know. Word though often picks up that you used the wrong word and will help you to correct it. For example, in your post the Climb you wanted to say hopes, but it reads hoes (you might want to fix that one).

All in all though I am impressed with your initial build out and if you keep at it, climbing that mountain one step at a time, you can do it!

Feel free to return the favor at http://spiralrevolutions.com any post that speaks to you would be fine.

Hi Josh,

I am about to leave a comment on your site but I just had to tell one thing.

I like the site, it's cool....but.....

Just one thing I didn't like and it made reading your articles cumbersome. It's the enormous black banner at the top. Can you do something with that? Make it smaller?

Only trying to help..

Really great - as usual! You are saying things that should just be common sense, but it seems we all need to be reminded of what that is. Great practical tips too. Clear and easy to read! Like you just said yourself - if there are just long paragraphs - I can't be bothered to read it.

I have found in life that often people need a little reminder about the common sense things. Glad you liked it! Thanks.

After reading this I went straight to my site and turned off the "comment authors must sign in" box to promote more spontaneous discussion! Thanks for the tips!

That honestly is one of my personal pet peeves when I visit sites and I have always been that way even before coming to WA. Thanks for stopping by and glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for the training. It is very eye opening and informative. I'll use this new knowledge when interacting with other WAers.

Great training! There seems to be a lot of confusion about the proper etiquette when swapping comments. It only takes a few extra seconds on everyone's part to really help each other enormously.

Yup Steve, I thought it was definitely time for a refresher on this topic.
