Hey guys I just added a new page to my website, and would love some feedback and comments. Please let me know what you think!

Josh, I love what you've done, which is quite a lot so far. On this 1 page, I believe that you're missing something here. It's all well and fine that you incorporated your website into the steps, but what about driving traffic to your website? Are you solely relying on SEO? When you're ranked #1 on Google that really isn't a problem but for the majority of affiliates, that is not the case, especially when first starting out. I do believe we are in the same niche and I love your writing style, very relaxed. There is one thing that I strongly recommend and this is in conflict with Kyle. I know he says don't worry about misspellings and grammatical errors but I disagree when it comes to professionalism. You want people to look to you as an authority figure or an expert and that is something that most intelligent buyers, consumers, prospects will not do if you're not coming across with your written words, as an expert. My suggestion to you is to proof-read everything before you publish because you will look more authoritative to your audience. I'm happy to hear that you are one of millions of Amazon affiliates who has made money with them and is happy with their low commission rates. You are very lucky because over 90% of Affiliates fail to make enough ROI to remain with them. I happen to be one of them and would love to hear more about how you have been able to make money with them when their commissions are @ 6%? I once had an entire website filled with Amazon products and never made a dime. That was another of my many failures! lol

Other than the proofreading and recommending traffic sources or how to drive traffic (eyeballs) to your website, I found it charming!

Sincerely,

Janice Campbell jchomebiz

Thank you for the advice I really appreciate it!
Honestly i am still working on the whole driving traffic to my website thing. Do you have any advice for me? I would really love to have some help with this. It's something that is a consistent struggle for me and I will take any advice you can offer me.

As far as money with amazon... I haven't made massive amounts of money by any means. But I think that if people get a small commission or make any money they will see that it is possible. That is more so my goal in suggesting amazon!

Thank You!

Josh, real quickly there are several different ways to drive traffic to your website inexpensively by engaging within all the social media platforms. like twitter, instagram, pinterest, linkedin. But paid traffic is either by PayPerClick usually with Google, Bing, Yahoo. There is also Facebook Ads and Twitter Ads. There is also a "solo ad" provider network where you pay to mail your email (swipe) copy and your creative(your landing page -html) to another person or company's list. You always want to target your audience (who are your ideal buyers?) before spending any money on ads. Think this through: What gender are you talking to? What age group? Does Income for that audience play a factor? What countries do you want to target (I stick with all English speaking). What interests may be related to your product that your ideal customer has? Many ways to find this info out by doing keyword searches, using the information and reviews of the item you are selling, etc.

Anyone who has made sales that can help?

Depends on what you're selling and how pro-active you are in trying to build a site to sell it. But figure on several months rather than weeks or days.

Rather than how long, perhaps IMc you could tell me how many pages on a site does it usually take before one gets ranked/starts selling? If it's say....10 pages, then I know I can bash out 10 pages in 10 days. If it's more, I'll know to wait ... :)

If there was an exact formula then that would make life easier. But there isn't. Start by adding 3-4 posts a week for the first 3 months.

If you add 10 posts and then do nothing, Google will think you've given up on the site.

You have to show them you will keep the site going long term before it ranks you highly for any semi competitive terms

Cheers mate much appreciated. So in your view, it would make more sense to focus on one site/niche when you're starting and populate that site with content rather than trying to get 4-5 sites going simultaneously...?

Definitely yes. Stick to one site Otherwise you'll spread yourself too thin and although you'll be turning out content, it probably won't be great.

Once you've proved to yourself that you can make a site and get it ranked, then move on to the second site. Once your site's been alive for a year or so, you won't have to post on it nearly as often to keep it ranking. So will have free time to do another

Bingo awesome to hear that. I was in the process of dreaming up 10 sites to run with hahaha. One last question if I may be so brazen. When you put a search term into Jaaxy/Google whatever, and you get a list of say, 15-20 good terms/phrases that meet the criteria, should you make individual posts for each keyword/phrase listed (so 20 good keywords = 20 separate posts), or should you try to stick 7-8 of them inside one single post?
