In Closing

I hope that you now have a better understanding of how to provide feedback, leave comments, and how to share socially. There are just a couple things I would like to reiterate on before we finish.

Be The Change

Be the change that you yourself are looking for with being here at Wealthy Affiliate. Don't just apply these techniques to people here when they ask for help, but rather whenever you surf the Internet. Anytime you come across intriguing material, leave a comment to let the author know that they did a good job and share it for your family and friends to see.

Think About Your Surfing Habits

You know that you have certain habits when you are surfing the Internet and it is important to keep them in mind when going through this whole process. Let your personal habits guide you into leaving feedback so that people can truly understand what it is that you are looking for.

For example:

  • I struggle to read posts with big blocks of text and no images.
  • I don't leave comments if I have to sign up or in to do so.
  • If I land on a page that is too busy with flashing ads all over, I leave right away.

The basic idea behind this is that if these are my normal surfing habits, then I am sure there are many other people that feel the same way.

When You Ask For Help, Return The Favor

I know that Kyle always mentions this and I will too. Whenever you leave a link and ask for help, please make sure that you return the favor for at least three other people in the thread.

I would also like to state here that it is OK to skip over a particular request if you are not comfortable with the topic. Its bound to happen with so many of us here and we need to realize from both sides of the coin that it is alright.

Really great - as usual! You are saying things that should just be common sense, but it seems we all need to be reminded of what that is. Great practical tips too. Clear and easy to read! Like you just said yourself - if there are just long paragraphs - I can't be bothered to read it.

After reading this I went straight to my site and turned off the "comment authors must sign in" box to promote more spontaneous discussion! Thanks for the tips!

That honestly is one of my personal pet peeves when I visit sites and I have always been that way even before coming to WA. Thanks for stopping by and glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for the training. It is very eye opening and informative. I'll use this new knowledge when interacting with other WAers.

Great training! There seems to be a lot of confusion about the proper etiquette when swapping comments. It only takes a few extra seconds on everyone's part to really help each other enormously.
