2 - Buffer

Buffer is another social media scheduler that can be used across different social media platforms, including Instagram.

In order to schedule and publish your Instagram posts using Buffer, you'll have to install its mobile app and then get notified before publishing.

Buffer also offers a free account that comes with such limits as scheduling of only 10 posts at a time. If you want to schedule more posts, you'll have to upgrade your plan to the Awesome plan starting at $10 per month or $102 per year.

Other features that come with the Awesome plan include scheduled posts in the visual calendar and scheduled content appearing as a list on a feed. Buffer also lets you view comments and likes under each published post plus the ability to scan older posts and post them again.

The free plan allows for one account per social media network and a max of 10 scheduled posts each. You can access real-time analytics of Instagram posts and recycle old posts (re-Buffer) using this tool.

3 - Tailwind

Tailwind is probably the best Instagram marketing tool for scheduling and automating your posts. It's actually an official partner plus the tool offers so many features that will enable you to make the most of your Instagram marketing.

You can access lots of hashtag ideas from Tailwind while scheduling an Instagram post. Other benefits include tips on the right time to post, stats from your published posts, and the ability to schedule Instagram Stories.

Tailwind also lets you automate your posts, allows multiple accounts, offers drag and drop calendar, offers Chrome add-on, and iOS app. However, at the moment of writing this post, there isn't any Tailwind support for the Android app.

Tailwind App can be accessed and used starting at $9.99 per month for entrepreneurs and small biz while the agency plan starts at $799 per month.

Great overview of several tools to do Instagramming. I have Tailwind, which is great. But what is a bit annoying is that I have to pay for both the Pinterest and the Instagram function for each website I have.

I am also on the trial on Hootsuite and free version of Later.

I am a bit in favour of Tailwind at the moment. I have still some time before the Hootsuite trial ends, but it seems promising at the moment.

That's so true, Roy. A lot of people already know how significant and useful the Tailwind tool is as far as automating posts, building traffic and growing a network of followers is concerned.

Thank you Israel. I am a member of tailwind but I must admit that I struggle using I so far I've only scheduled Pinterest pins with it. Maybe it's time to try one of the others as I like to do most of my work using my mobile. Jim

Wow, we're like-minded, Jim. I equally love to do most things using mobile devices except for typing articles. Glad you found my Instagram training interesting!

The Tailwind blog has great guides to get to grips with how ot use both the tool and Instagram/Pinterest. Reommended reading. They also have planners that gives you ideas for what to pin or post every week and month throughout the year.
