6. Do Not Write Boring Emails
While you can keep your content brief and to the point, you could use bullet points and other formatting tools to break up the content and make it easier to read. This is if you want people to read your emails.
People receive mountains of emails every day. They don't always have the time or the patience to read them all. Start with a title that will capture their interest.
7. Give Customers Subscription Opportunities
You need to offer customers and prospects many opportunities to sign-up for your marketing content. These are some good places to place a sign-up form for the newsletter:
- On a floating bar
- Your page's header area should be located at the top.
- A slide-out box that appears in the lower corner.
- Below a post
- A popup that appears just as the visitor is about leaving
- The sidebar
They won't look for a subscription box, so make it easy for them to subscribe.
8. Make Sure to Add a Call to Action (CTA)
You don't want subscribers to do anything other than read the email. It is unlikely that subscribers will become leads unless you look after them with information that they value. You could include a call-to-action with clear instructions and make it clear what they should do. Analyze emails that you receive and respond to and get ideas.
Thank you for this training.
